Part-A (Civil works)

Providing and laying soling 150mm thick under floor with 150mm size hard granite soling stones including supplying, filling and packing voids with 40 to 75mm size hard granite metal and gravel bindage, watering, well rammed, compaction by power/hand roller etc., complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:3:6 using 20mm maximum size graded aggregates including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications.

Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum size hard granite machine crushed graded stone aggregates including weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footings, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Chemical admixture conforming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of Rs 8 / Kg of cement. M30 grade with 370 kg. of Ordinary Portland Cement per cu.m. of concrete upto plinth level

Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixing coil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. (The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces.) Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted.

Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 'SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make' and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts. Note: The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department.

Providing and constructing brick masonry at all lifts using well burnt stock bricks in cement mortar 1:5 including suitable scaffolding, raking out joints, curing complete as per specifications and drawings for foundation, superstructure, etc. for all floors.

Providing plastering to the internal surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5, 12mm thick including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications.

Providing plastering to the external surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5, 20mm thick including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications.

Providing and fixing VITRIFIED floor tiles in different sizes with water absorption less that 0.08% and confirming to IS 15622 of Marbonite or approved make in all colours and shades in Glossy or Matt or satin finish (as required by Engineer-in-charge) laid over a bed of minimum 20mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3) including machine/hand cutting to required size & shape, grouting the joints with white cement mixed with coloring pigment to match colour of tile patterns, curing, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area complete all as per drawings and specifications. Note: The sample tile shall be got approved by the Architect/Engineer before procurement. In flooring, tile size of 600x600mm fixing with 20mm thick bedding in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand.

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed floor/wall tiles confirming to IS 15622 of approved make in approved size, shade and colour (as approved by Engineer-in-charge), free from cracks, fissures & flakes with straight edges & perfect corners fixed at right angles as per design and pattern required over a bed of 20mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3), including machine / hand cutting to required size and shape, pointed neatly with white cement mixed with coloring pigment to match colour of tile, properly finished in all respects, curing, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area, all materials and labour complete. Note: The sample tile shall be got approved by the Architect/Engineer before procurement. In flooring fixing with 20mm thick bedding in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand (Anti-Skid tiling)

Providing and applying painting Two coats at all levels with Plastic Emulsion Paint (First Quality) (Asian or Equivalent approved brand, colour and manufacturer) to give an even shade including one under coat of cement primer, applying putty, preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying painting Two coats at all levels with Exterior Emulsion Paint (Asian or Equivalent approved brand, colour and manufacturer) to give an even shade including one under coat of suitable primer, applying putty, preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of Green chalk Writing Board of approved size of make schoolneeds or Corporate Concepts or Alkosign made from high quality hard dry wipe Green chalk laminate over 10mm thick MDF board framed with 25mm thick double sided curved heavy anodized aluminum sections and Chromium plated plastic corners including backed with PVC sheet, providing concealed clamps at the back side for wall mounting, providing and fixing of chalk tray at bottom side, etc., complete.

Providing and laying pressed flat clay tiles 230 x 230mm size and 20mm thick tiles on roof slab jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with 2% integral waterproofing compound laid over a bed of 20mm thick cement mortar 1:3 and finished neat complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, supplying, cutting, bending to shape, welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position structural steel members like MS structural embedment’s/pipe and sleeves/penetration etc. using MS angles, channels, I-sections, plates, tees, flats, rounds, square sections etc. including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coat of Red lead paint primer / Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Lifting device arrangements if any required shall also be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Providing and fixing PVC rain water downtake pipes conforming to IS:13592 Type A and PVC SWR Fittings & specials conforming to IS:14735, ‘Finolex’ or other approved equivalent make of pipes, fittings & specials including jointing with seal ring / with PVC solvent adhesive including fixing in walls/columns using clamps, anchor fasteners, bolts and teakwood packing pieces, joint testing etc complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and fixing the following sizes of gun metal full way gate valves female ends screwed bonnet integral seat non raising spindle class I, ISI marked to IS:778 tested to 20 kg/sqcm hydraulic pressure etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 25mm nominal bore

Providing and fixing Heavy Quality C.P. brass 15mm dia Bib cock “ESSCO / PLATO” or approved equivalent as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Samples to be got approved by the Engineer-in-Charge)

Providing and fixing Designer Concrete tile Flooring (using “EUROCON / ULTRA / Duracrete” make or approved equivalent type and make) of approved colour and design over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4, setting the tiles in cement slurry including pointing the joints with white cement with matching colour pigments, curing and cleaning the tiles by water sponging after laying complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing for Kadappa stones slabs of 15 to 20mm thick for cupboards etc,. including labour, materials and all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Hiring charges for Deployment of One JCB including fuel and driver wages, etc for miscellenous excavation, dismatling, breaking, levellig, Jungle clearing etc,. all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in charge.

Providing and Fixing 18mm thick Jet black or approved make Granite inaugural plaque with granite stone engraved with artistic letters and golden colour painting for lettering, including cost of labour and material for fixing on a wall all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting of all size of letters, artistic painting of different colours/designs/patterns over board (walls, steel plates,banners etc.) including painting, preparation of surfaces, removing dust, erection of scaffolding at all elevation etc., including cost of labour, material, brush, scaffolding erection, complete to a maximum height of 5 metres, all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Lettering to be done at two locations)
