REPAIR MAINT OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM FIRE ALARM SYSTEM SMOKE DETECTORS AND OTHER ASSOCIATED WORKS IN FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEMS AT HD ENCLAVE AND REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF HEPA FILTER AND PRE FILTER FOR OT ICU AT MH MHOW AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS UNDER GE MAI

Maintenance, check up of Fire hydrant pump House & Fire Hydrant along with servicing of complete system Installed with in pump House and its components such as valves, pumps, air cushion tank, pressure switches, gauges, Panels etc (Cost of replacement items shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule, servicing charge is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate). Scope of work covered :- (a) checking of Pre charged Air vessel Including servicing ( greasing , overhauling, tightening of nut bolts and other spares shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate, Cost of replacement parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule making sure that are in proper working condition and ready for operation. (b) checking, oiling, greasing ( if required)/ replacing Gate valves, butterfly valves, NRV, Check Valves, expansion bellows, spring-loaded valves , control valves, forged brass ball valve test assemblies etc ( of all dia.) Cost shall be inclusive of fixing only. (c) checking, oiling, greasing ( if required) fire hydrant landing valve Cost of replacement parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. (d) checking, cleaning and servicing of Hose reel drum for smooth functioning. (e) Checking of rubber reinforced lined fire hose (f) Checking of Main Control Panel for Fire Fighting pumps , including wiring , repairing and replacing of faulty cables, wires, and other components such as MCB, MCCB, relays, contactors etc Cost of replacement parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule.

M&L for disconnecting the Jockey pumps of capacity 15 HP of any make and model from motor and all water connections and removing/taking up from foundation, taking to respective (original pump manufacturer) authorised dealer workshop for repair/strip opening and repairing of pumping sets by changing the defective/unserviceable parts such as bearing, shaft, impeller, bush, Gland plate etc. complete and reassembling including oiling, greasing replacement of worn out nuts, bolts, gasket etc, and re-fixing in its original position at site, making all connections, commissioning and testing for smooth and noise free operation etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i). Ball bearing, shaft, impeller, bush, Gland plate & stuffing box packing, Cooling tube with Banjo nut, O ring, Shoulder ring , Gasket Packing, Vent valve, Gland rope and Set of rubber oil seal etc shall be replacement all items included in quoted rate no extra payment shall pait to relevent items (ii) Necessary T & P/vehicles shall be arranged by the contractor and the quoted rates shall be inclusive of above provision.

Hose box made of 18 gauge MS Sheet 800mm X 600mm X 250mm with double door with 4 mm thick glasses and door frame made of 16 gauge MS sheet painted fire red out side and brilliant white inside yard , weather proof, fabricated from 16 gauge MS sheet of fully welded construction with hinged double front door , partially glazed with 4 mm thick glass with locking arrangment duly painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel postal red point over a coat of red 9 oxide zinc chromate primer with " Fire Hose Box " written on front , suitable to Each house 2x15 metre ( two lengths ) of canvas hose with couplings , branch pipe , One fireman's axe , first aid fire hose reel and hydrant outlet complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in repairs standard short gunmetal branch pipe with gunmetal nozzle 16 mm dia outlet with standard male instantaneous spring lock type 63mm dia 0 coupling ( Branch pipe and nozzle shall be ISI marked with ( IS : 903-1986 ) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Providing and fixing in repairs standard fireman's axe with heavy insulated rubber handle 11 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F Yard hydrant Post / Stand Post 80mm Dia GI / MS both flanged type 1.5m Height complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing in repairs 63 mm dia 15 metre long Reinforced Rubber Lined ( RRL ) Type ' A ' ISI marked ( IS - 636 ) , woven jacketed hose pipe tested to bursting pressure 32 Kg / Sq cm with and including gun metal male & female instantaneous type coupling approved by fire authority , ISI marked ( IS : 903 ) , machine wound with Gl wire with the pipe complete in ali respects, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in repairs internal fire hydrant comprising of and including single headed stainless steel body fire hydrant valve, 100 mm inlet with single outlet with control and fitted complete with 63 mm dia female instaneous coupling of stainless steel conforming to type " A " of IS : 5290-1977 on the outlet complete with orifice flangs as required with ABS plastic blank cap , steel chain adaptor as per IS Specifications as required including 6 mm thick Stainless Steel Orifice Plate of suitable size as required , complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : rate quoted shall be deemaed to include for sealing of threaded parts with " Holdtite ".

S&F in repairs Fire hose reel 30 meter length with drum complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Gate valve 25 mm brass complete all as specified and directed.
