Civil Work

Earth work excavation for foundation in all soils and sub soils to full depth as may be directed except in hard rock requiring but inclusive of shoring, strutting and baling out water wherever necessary and refilling the sies of foundation with excavated earth in layers of not more than 15cm thick. Well rammed and consoled and departmental officers with initial leads and lifts etc,.including levelling the sites complete complying with standard specifications and as desired. In hard stiff clay, siff black cotton soil hard red earth shales murams , gravel, stoney earth and earth muds with 50% fair size boulders and hard gravely soil (SS20B-SS.No.30B)

Cement concrete 1:4:8 mix using 40mm Gauge hand broken granite stone jelly for flooring including consolidating as per standard specification curing ect,. Completing and randering the top rough to take floor finish the rate is to include necessary planting for providing into bays wherever necessary as directed by the departmental officers (TNBA SS No. 28 )

Cement concrete 1:3:6 using 40mm gauge hand broken granite stone jelly for foundation including watering wherever necessary and laid in layers not more than 15cm, thick, compacting etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

Brick work using country bricks of size 83/4"x41/4"x23/4" in cement mortar 1:5 (One cement and five M.Sand) including curing neat finishing, etc., complete complying with standard specifiction.

Supply and erecting of centeing for sides and soffits including supports and strutting up tp 3.29m height for plane surfaces in all floors with all cross bracings using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x and 10 gauge stiffened, welded with mild steel angles of size215x25x3mm for boarding laid over silver oak (country wood ) joist of size 10cm x 6.5cm dia spat about 990cm centre and supported by causurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at about 90cm.centre and completed complying as per specification an a directed for the following items RCC floor slab, roof slab, rectangular, square, landing beams, Lintels, Staires waist slab, Tee or L-beams, Portico beams, etc,.size 20x 5 mm fully covered with 18 gauge side slab of RCC boxing, Vertical drop, Facia for sunshade and canopu facia, vertical walls. RCC columns, top and bottom slab of boxing, still slabs, sun shade, etc,.

Supply and fabrication and placing in position mild steel or ribbed for steel for all reinforced cement concrete works as per the design given including cost of steel and binding wire in all floors etc complete complying with standard specification (MS rods or RTS) bars will be supplied departmently ar section stores and cost will ne supplied departmently at section stores and cost will be recovered at issue rate) The binding wire shall be supplied by the contractor.

RCC 1:1.5:3 using 20mm Gauge machine hand broken granite stone jelly for all Rcc items of works excluding cost of rain force cement and fabricating charges centering and shuttering but including ouring and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor or roof slabs wherever necessary and bearing surfaces of walls, sides and bottom of the slabs beams etc shall be finishing smooth with cement mortor 1:3 mm thick and with kraft pape without claimping etc,. as directed by the departmental officers complete complying with standard specification. The rate is including vibration charges (SS No.9).

Supplying and applying of two coats of putty of 3mm thick over the exposed RCC surface of ceiling including finishing the joints smoothy with grinding machine and the surface shall be thoroughly cleaned out of dust and scrubbing. The Surface shall then be allowed to dry for atleast 48 hours. It shall then be sand papered (waterproof abrasive sheet) to give a smooth and even surface. Any unevenness shall be made good by applying 1st coat of putty mixed with water on the entire surface including filling up the undulations and applying 2nd coat of putty after 6 hours of 1st coat of putty and then sand papering (waterproof abrasive sheet) the same after it is dry and finishing the surface smoothly, etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Departmental Officers. [ The rates are inclusive of hire charges for grinding machine with wheel, cost of sand paper (waterproof abrasive sheet), cost of putty blade, labour charges for grinding the joints and sand papering, two coat of putty, scrapping the putty area to level the surface smooth, etc., complete]. The Putty shoule be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on work.

Plastering with cement mortor 1:5 to12mm thick in all floors including curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

Weathering course with brick jelly lime concrete using 20mm brick jelly with pure slacked lime over R.C.C. roof slab in the proportion of 32:12.5 and finshed with one course of pressed tiles of size 23x23x2cm with cement mortar 1:3 mix and pointed with the same oiled mortar including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and all labour charges etc complete for 10 Sqm

Finishing the top of roof with one course of machine pressed tiles of size 230mm x 230mm x 20mm of approved quality set in Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Crushed stone M.Sand) 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound conforming to ISS at 2% by weight of cement used and the joints pointed neatly to full depth of tiles with the same cement mortar mixed with red oxide and water proofing compound including curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Paving the Floor with scratch proof ceromic tiles of including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and all labour charges etc complete

Fabrication and supply of Mild Steel Door of any required size with double leaf,outter frame of 35x35x 5mm equal MSL angle and shutter frame made of 25x25x5mm equal MSL angle for horizontal and vertical members and the shutter frame strengthened by stiffe Door D (1.50 x 2.10 )

Fabrication and supply of Mild Steel Window of any required size with Three leaf.Outter frame of 35x35x 5mm equal MSL angle, Mullion section made of 35x 35x5mm equal T-section, shutter frame made of 25x25x5mm equal MSL angle for horizontal and vertical etc.,

Supply and fixing of RCC Jolly including cost of materials and labour charges etc.

Supplying and fixing of RCC Rings & Cover slab of size 0.90m including all charges etc complete

provision for water supply pipe arrangements

Providing and fixing P.V.C. Rainwater Downfall pipes of 110mm diametre with necessary shoes, bends and other speicals, clamps, screws, nails, teakwood plugs etc., complete including cost of all materials. The rate is to include cost of removable cast iron

White washing with two coats of approved colour and quality over one coat of white cement primer including cleaning and preparing the wall surface and brushes, sand paper, scaffolding charges

Distembering two coats with best approved oil bound distember including cost of painting priming coat over new plastered surface and conveyance of all materials to site and all labour charges

Exterior Emulsion Two coats over priming coat including cost and conveyance of all materials and labour charges etc complete.

Painting two coats using good enamel paints including of all cost and conveyance of all materials to site for labour charges etc., complete.

Wiring with 2 x 1.5 sq.mm. PVC insulated SC unsheathed FRLS copper conductor of 1100V grade in suitable PVC rigid pipe on wall and ceiling with PVC accessories and with TW switch box and 5A FT switch with painting of suitable colour for open PVC light point / fan point (for electronic regulator) (5 points per coil)

Wiring with 2 x 1.5 sq.mm. PVC insulated single core unsheathed FRLS copper conductor cable of 1100V grade in suitable heavy gauge MS conduit pipe on wall and ceiling with MS accessories in flush with wall with 150mm x 100mm x 75mm MS switch box with 3mm thick hylum sheet cover for 5A 3pin non interlocking CS plug with continuous earth wire connection of 1.5 sq.mm copper wire and making good of the concealed portion with suitable colour for concealed plug point

Supply and run of 2 of 4 sq.mm (56/0.3) PVC insulated SC unsheathed Cu.Conductor of 1100V on 7/20 GI bearer wire for service connection mains SD 65

Supply and fixing of TNEB meter Board suitable for 32A Three Phase service connection with 3 Nos. 32A Fuse unit (500V) 32A neutral link and earth link (1" x 1/8" Copper flat) on TW plank of size 600mm x 450mm x 19mm with supporting TW reepers of 1" thick

Supply and run of 2x1.5sqmm (22/0.3) PVC insulated SC unsheathed Cu.Conductor of 1100V grade in 25mm dia GI pipe (Class 'B') suitably bent at both ends with necessary angle iron upright and end supports for mains SD 69
