Excavation and Construction of Subarnarekha Branch Canal from RD 00M to RD 3600M off taking at RD 45525M of Subarnarekha main Canal including all structures with Cement Concrete Lining and Service Road.

Clearing and grubbing of all kind of jungles (heavy & light) uprooting stumps (covered with plants less than 30 cm girth) and disposing of the debris clear of work site with supply of all equippments, tools & plants, labour etc. required for the work including supervision charges and including all taxes etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Payment basing on pre-measurement)

Triangular or square section trench cutting of 0.15 m. deep for alignment and demarkation purpose including measuring and marking lines with all labour, t & P complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in base stripping the sheet of embankments by manual or mechanical means removing of all organic materials in all kinds of soil including stoney earth, moorum mixed with pebble concrete, all types of stone masonry etc. and levelling the bed laying the excavated materials away from the work site in layers not exceeding 225 mm in depth including breaking clods 5 cm to 7 cm size with all leads, tools & plants, labour, all taxes required for the work including supervision charges, cost of mobilisation and demobilisation with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Earthwork in excavation of canal by Mechanical means in all kinds of soil including sand, silt, loam clay mud, stiff & hard clay, hard red earth, shale, stoney earth, gravel, moorum interspread with boulder upto 1/2 cum volume, soling of road, path etc. and hard core, water bound macadam, lean concreta, stone masonry in lime mortar or brick work in lime mortar or mud mortar below ground level and soft conglomerate rock where stone may be detached from fine matrix with pick axes and crow bars and generally any materials which is not offering resistance to digging greater than the hardness of any aforesaid soils including trimming the slopes & bed to proper profile and transporting useful excavated materials by mechanical means and laying on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface of bank of canal in filling section and levelling the earth in 22.5 cm thick to receive compaction and unuseful soil in spoil bank as required with all leads, lifts, delifts, loading and unloading, including dewatering and maintenance of coffer dam, diversion arrangement for excess flow and the removal of the same after completion of the work including the cost of tools and plants, all materials, all taxes including labour cess with mobilization and demobilization and construction and maintenance charges with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per design, drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation, loading and carriage by mechanical means in D.I. rock, laterite and soft rock not requiring blasting interspread with boulders upto 1/2 cum size with all lifts and delifts including trimming of slopes and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials away from work site as per the specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of 5 km from the place of excavation complete.

Excavation in any approved type of soil in approved borrow areas by mechanical means including stripping of borrow area and clearing of all trees, stumps, roots, bushes rubbish, humus and other objectionable materials outside the designated borrow area for bringing earth as required for the work including cost of construction and maintenance of haul roads and approach roads from the borrow area to work site including watering if required in borrow area loading and transporting the excavated materials by mechanical means and laying on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface having 0.6m to 0.90m extra width on both side of the embankment beyond design section of bank of canal in filling reaches and levelling the earth in 22.5cm layer by manual labour or by mechanical means including rehandling the soil if required (to make the fill ready for watering and compaction) to proper shape & size with all leads, lifts, delifts and cost of dewatering if any cost of all materials all taxes on materials including the cost of mobilisation and demobilisation supplying operation maintenance of all machineries equipments and labour required for the work inclusive of supervision charges complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge complete in all respect(payment will be made on finish design section, contractor has to arrange borrow earth at his own cost).

Watering earthwork up to OMC condition and compaction by vibro roller and dozer or by any other mechanical means in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm to required density to achieve 95% compaction including hire and running charges of all the machineries including cost of fuel and lubricants, with cost of mobilisation, demobilisation and all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (measurement to be taken on the finished compacted section of the fill under OMC condition).

Fine dressing and turfing the canal embankment, slopes with approved quality of compacted dubgrass including collection and supplying the same from approved site including loading, unloading, conveyance charges, royalty and all other taxes with all leads and specification including cost of mobilization, demobilization, supplying all machineries, equipments, materials. arid labour required for the work supervision charges including cost of watering and making arrangements till survival of grass to its full growth with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (payment will be made only after survival of the turf.)

Earth work in excavation of foundation by mechanical/manual means in all kinds of soil including disintegrated rock of all kinds including sheet laterite and soft rock, sand stone hard conglomerate rubble stone having all size not required blasting, soling roads, path, hard core macadam surface (water/ tar/ bitumin or lime bound) lime or cement concrete, masonary with cement or lime morter below ground level, soft conglomerate where stone may be detached from the matrix with pickaxe and generally any materials which require the close application of pickaxe scarifying to loosen any soil mentioned above by, manual or mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts including shoring, shuttering, proping bullah, pilling, including cost of dewatering drainage arrangement and slush removal if required & ramming the foundation and removing stumps and roots of trees including stacking the excavated materials away from the work site including back filling the sides of foundation trenches with useable earth in layers not exceeding 150mm thick including ramming manually or mechanically fully compacted as per the drawings, designs and specifications, including cost of mobilization, demobilisations, supply or all equipments, materials, labour ,tools required for the work, supervision charges, all taxes etc. with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurment and payment will be made on theoretical design and level section)
