CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF RCC DRAINS IN UREA PLANTAT RCF THAL

Earthwork in excavation by Manual means / Mechanical means (Hydraulic Excavator) in foundations of buildings, footings, columns, plinth beams, walls machine / equipment foundations isolated pits, pavements, trenches for pipelines / cables, pipe sleepers, drains etc., to the required levels and grades in both dry and wet conditions including dewatering, ramming of bottoms, getting out including dressing of sides and excavated earth with lift up to 3.0 M and disposal of surplus excavated materials within a lead of 3 KM including stacking, leveling and dressing after necessary backfilling etc., complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge in all kinds of soils, sand, gravel murrum, bouldersect. including providing temporary supports to all service lines such as overhead and underground water sewage and drain pipes, cables etc and shoring and strutting,existing drain diversion and its dewatering as directed by EIC( with no extra cost to RCF) wherever necessary, complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer- in Charge

Providing dry trap rubble stone soling 15 to 20 cm. thick including filling the voids, hand packing, watered & compacting etc. complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer- in Charge. (including supplying of rubble stone).

Dismantling carefully the existing/ damaged structure of brick/block/stone masonry in cement or lime mortar with all leads & lifts, including sorting out serviceable materials and stacking the dismantled material neatly including necessary scaffolding & disposal of debris up to 3 Km lead with in the factory premises as directed by EIC.

Dismantling existing structural steel including cutting & transportation up to RCF scrap yard or Civil office as directed by EIC.

Dismantling carefully the existing/ damaged structure of PCC, RCC,hard stone with including sorting out serviceable materials and stacking the dismantled material neatly including necessary scaffolding & disposal of debris with in the factory premises with lift up to 1.5 m and up to 3 Km lead within factory premises.

Providing cement plaster 12 to 15 mm thick in a single coat, in cement mortar 1:4 without neeru finish to internal / external surfaces of concrete or brick surface in all position including racking out joints, scaffolding and curing etc. complete.

Providing and constructing brick masonry work in 2nd. class bricks in foundation plinth and super structure using cement mortar of proportion 1:6 (cement: Sand) including bailing out water scaaffolding work, raking out joints, watering, cleaning and soaking the bricks at least for 24 hours before use , curing etc. for 7 days etc. all complete at all heights / depth. Curing etc. complete as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete machine/manually mixed & compacted using 20/40 mm nominal size graded coarse aggregate excluding cost of centering and shuttering & curing in pavements, plinth, under floors and at all heights in proportion-M-10

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete of grade M - 15 (using 20 mm, nominal gauge graded stone aggregate) machine mixed at site or RMC and mechanically vibrated and finished to a fair face including cost of centering and shuttering and excluding the cost of reinforcement steel in foundation , for rafts, footings, pardi, pedestals, walls , box sections, pipe supports, slabs,beams,columns at all heights etc., complete etc. in all respects as per direction of Engineer -in- Charge

Providing and fixing in position precast reinforced cement concrete of grade M-25 ( using 12.5 mm. nominal gauge graded stone aggregate), machine mixed, mechanically vibrated and finished to a fair face including centring, shuttering etc. but excluding the cost of reinforcement/MS insert plates in Trench/ drain covers/pre-cast draind etc. in foundation and plinth etc., complete etc. in all respects as per direction of Engineer -in- Charge.

Supply, cut, bend and fix in position High Yield strength Deformed bars of Fe-500D grade for all diameters confirming to IS 1786, including tying with binding wire (16 SWG Annealed wire) or welding, tested steel reinforcement for all reinforced concrete at all locations and levels, including transporting, handling etc. complete.No separate payment for chairs, laps, wastage and binding wire will be made (SAIL, TISCON, TATA,JINDAL brands only).

Providing and Fabricating structural steel work in rolled sections joists, channels, angles, tees, plates etc. for kerb angles,nosing angles bottom bracings and nut-bolts for columns/beams etc. as per detailed design and drawings or as directed by EIC cutting, fabricating, hoisting, erecting, fixing in position making riveted/bolted/welded connections with connecting plates, braces etc., including one coat of red-oxide primer and over it two coats of enamal painting of approved quality and shade etc. complete. (of make TATA/SAIL/RINL/JSW only or as approved by EIC )

Providing NP-2 pipes of 300 mm dia as per direction of EIC etc complete as per applicable relevant IS codes.

Supplying, fabricating & erecting in position bolted and/or welded Hot dipped galvanised grating in walkways, platforms, etc (fabricated as per approved drawing) made out of contractors own MS flats, HYSD reinforcement bars etc.including cutting to required size, shape, making hole of required size, making the edges smooth, getting it hot dip galvanised after fabrication, erecting using GI clamps, nut bolts and washers for the structures upto and including the platform in the respective level category etc.complete as directed by EIC. All material to be supplied by the contractor. HYSD reinforcement shall confirm to IS:1786 Fe415 and MS flat shall confirm to IS:2062. Hot dip galvanising shall be of 86 microns thickness confirm to IS:2629. Payment for G.I. gratings shall be made as per the actual physical weight of the G.I. grating as obtained at site. This includes Supplying, fabricating & erecting in position bolted and/ or welded Hot. Approximate weight of grating shall be 30 to 40 kg/Sq.m.

Fabricating structural steel work in rolled sections, fixed with connecting plates or angle cleats in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters, purlins connecting to truss members, joists, channels, angles, tees etc. As per detailed designs and drawing or as directed including cutting, fabricating, hoisting, erecting, fixing in position, making riveted / bolted / welded connections and one coat of anticorrosive paint and over it two coats of oil painting complete( with RCF supply of structural steel only)

Detailed/final location Contour Survey & establishing drain levels (Invert & floor tops level ) of existing and proposed new drains with chain,compass,levels,Total station and other essential surveying instruments for establishing proper drain slope,providing longitudinal sections,cross section ,drawing /layout in consultation with RCF etc complete.

Providing And Fixing Misc. Materials Not Covered In The Schedule Of Rates Including Transporting, Loading, Unloading At Site Etc. (Cash Receipt To Be Submitted).
