ITEMS APPLICABLE FOR JOB 'A'

Excavation in trenches Soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for laying of pipes,complete including excavtion on road wherever necessary all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches hard dense soil not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for laying of pipes,complete including excavtion on road wherever necessary all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling of excavated soil in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance exc.50m and not exc 1.5 mtr and depositing at the location complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and testing of Ductile iron pipes, class K-9, with spigot and socketed ends centrifugally cast (spun) with factory applied cement mortar lining inside the pipes and outside with zinc coating with suitable push on joint (rubber gasket D joint) of 300mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm grade aggregate with in foundation/mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

ITEMS APPLICABLE FOR JOB 'B'

Taking down old unserviceable Copper/ Aluminium/GI strip of any size ,any type and any height building complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable Air termination rod of any size ,any type and any height building complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable test point terrminal block of any size ,any type and any height building complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300 mm long at any height building with fixing arrangements such as screws, saddles,porcelain insulators etc including fixing on 25 mm dia GI pipe medium grade of one mtr height with base firmly PCC block 1:2:4 type B1(using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of size 45X30X30 cm with plaster and cement based paint including nut,bolt and washer or as per site requirement on roof top complete all as specified and directed. Note- GI pipe medium grade 25 mm dia of 1mtr length with PCC block as per above description shall be included in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for this.

S&F Copper strip 20 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc on porcelain insulator fixed at every 1 mtr distance on roof/wall or any place as per site requirement of any height building such as a roof conductor or down conductor or ground conductor connected to earth test point complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Copper strip 32 x 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc on porcelain insulator fixed at every 1 mtr distance on roof/wall or any place as per site requirement of any height building such as a roof conductor or down conductor or ground conductor connected to earth test point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth electrode plate of size 600x600x6mm thick, buried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip of size 32 x 6 mm as earth lead up to test point with suitable size GI nuts/bolts, washers,check nut and brazed properly up to main board,LT panel etc and adequate quantity of charcoal and salt 15 cm around the earth plate including earth pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates,40mm thick precast RCC cover in 1:2:4 reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way including CI cover 10 mm thick with hinged and frame of angle iron 25x25x6mm with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, excavation and earth work in any type of soil and including medium grade GI watering pipe 20mm bore with funnel and wire mesh and medium grade GI protection pipe 40mm bore up to main board complete all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES schedule Part-I , connected to earthing testing point and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) The unit rate shall include 40 mm dia GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth lead. (ii) The unit rate shall include GI main earthing lead/strip of size 32x6 mm from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 meter (iii) In case measured value of earth resistance of each earthing is recorded more than 3 ohms then the earthing shall be re done by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

M&L for point wiring with 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated,unsheathed, FRLS multistranded copper conductor 1100 volts grade cable in and including heavy grade PVC Casing & Capping ISI marked broken white or of cream colour with all accessories such as tee,bend,joint cover etc, round/ square PVC blocks at junction for batten holders, ceiling rose etc ,screws, gutti / roul plugs PVC all as per site requirements including fixing on stone walls / brick masonary walls /ceilings /floors etc including heavy duty plastic terminal boxes as per site requirement for mounting of modular switches/ sockets/regulator etc and 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated,unsheathed, FRLS multistranded copper conductor 1100 volts grade cable as continuous earth lead connected to common earth dolly complete all as specified and colour coding of cables such as Phase- Red, Neutral-Black, and Earth-Green.and making good to disturbed surfaces/wall with plaster & matching with the existing colour of wall/floor etc complete all as specified and directed for the following:-
