Attending Repair works to ML.POOKUNHI,ML.BEEKUNHI and MT.ALTHAF belongs to port department at Kavaratti

Timber repair work including dismantling and removing the defective portion of Motor Launch M.L. MINICOY above and below water level of deck, hull fender, wheel house, engine room including top area, crew cabin, partition wall, providing additional cross beams repairing / removing hull holding beams, rib beams auxiliary beams, hull main beams etc, wherever found necessary as per standard marine practice and as per the direction of the Engineer In Charge where ever found necessary including cost of all labour charges, minor tools ,cost of all materials, including timber, etc., complete.

Removing the old putty, caulking etc, cleaning all the timber joints, above water level, hull, deck, wheel house engine room top etc, as per requirement and where ever found necessary, doing fresh caulking, applying marine glue, all works as per standard practice wherever found necessary and as directed by the Engineer In Charge including cost of all labour charges, minor tools & plants sundries, but including cost of all materials required for the work , all labour charges minor tools etc., complete.

Preparing the hull portion planks for applying fiber compound and applying of fiber compound on the entire hull portion and wherever found necessary and as instructed by EIC, including cost of all labour charges, cost of minor tools and all materials required for the work, like fiber compound, fiber oil etc, complete.

Fixing of Marine plywood,12 mm thick for board work for covering of wheel house canopy of the craft, covering, shelf and cupboard etc wherever required as directed by EIC, including cost of all labour charges, minor tools etc, and including cost of marine plywood, brass screw etc.

Dismantling cutless bushes, wooden bushes, stern tube, propeller shaft, stuffing box etc. replacing the cutless bushes, wooden bushes, checking the alignment of propeller shaft, stern tube etc, refixing all the accosseries with ssbolt/copper bolt, all in line and alignment, coupling the propeller shaft and intermediate shaft with gear box, checking the alignment,etc. including cost of all labour charges, cost of tools & plants, transportation charges of all materials to work site, cost of cutless bush, wooden bush,bolt & nut etc, but excluding cost of propeller shaft, intermediate shaft etc. complete.

Fabrication steering sector for rudder with 10mm thick M.S Plate, fixing stainless steel rudder shaft, Timber rudder, cast iron pullies,wooden steering wheeland reduction gear assy. Rudder shaft tube, stuffing box, coupling flanges, making timber rudder by providing rudder fork which made out of manganeese bronze, assembling and testing,etc as per instruction of EIC etc, including cost of all labour charges, cost of all materials, such as rudder, pullies, shaft, tube, stuffing box, steering wheel, rudder fork, flanges, coupling and all other materials required for the work etc. complete.

Finishing timber surface by applying sand paper/carborandum wheel 60/120/200/320 etc. cleaning and applying two coats of superior quality timber marine paint over primer coat and painting as per the direction of EIC, including cost of all labour charges and cost of paint, and all other materials required etc. complete.

Fixing fenders, stainless steel hook 5 Nos each side of boat and 2 Nos brass bollads 1 No each side of fr4ont deck including cost of bollards, ss bolts, coach screw and nuts, ss hook etc, including cost of all labour charges cost of materials etc complete.

Conveying, Installing and Commisioning of New Ashok Layland Make Marine Diesel Engine with gear box including fixing of Propellor shaft, checking the alignment of Engine with propeller shaft, stern tube etc, fixing all the standard accossieries of the Engine alongwith bolts & nuts all in line and alignment, coupling the propeller shaft and intermediarte shaft with gear box, checking the alignment, etc. including cost of all labour charges, cost of minor tools & plants, transportation charges of all materials to work site, wooden bush bolt & nut, Stern tube etc, but excluding cost of propeller shaft, intermediate shaft, New Ashok Layland Make Marine Diesel Engine which will be supplied by the department on free of cost from department stores, etc., complete.

I. M.L POOKUNHI & M.L BEEKUNHI. (a)Ashok Layland Make Marine Engine Model ALM 6ET, 6 cylinder inline Direct injection, water cooled Turbo charged, inter cooled marine diesel engine capable of developing 160 PS Max @2400 RPM fitted with Exhaust Manifold, luboil and fuel filter, 24 V electric system comprising startor motor, alternator, FIP, flywheel housing etc mounted on base frame and supplied alongwith sea water pump and heat exchanger. (b) Standard accessories(Packed seperately) Instrument panel with indicators for water temprature, oil pressure, RPM and starter switch. Silencer, Remote controller Assembly with 2 Nos cable 12 mtr in length each. fuel pipe kit coupled with Dong-I make Hydraulic Marine Gearbox Model DMT 50 A RATIO 3:12:1 (c) Battery 12 V 25 Plate 180 AH with socket and terminals 2 Nos each and battery cable 5 mtr in length. (Quantity-2 Nos)

II. M.T ALTHAF (a) Ashok Layland Make Marine Engine Model ALM 4 CTI, 4 cylinder inline Direct injection, water cooled Turbo charged, inter cooled marine diesel engine capable of developing 120 PS Max @2400 RPM fitted with Exhaust Manifold, luboil and fuel filter, 24 V electric system comprising startor motor, alternator, FIP, flywheel housing etc mounted on base frame and supplied alongwith sea water pump and heat exchanger. (b) Standard accessories(Packed seperately) Instrument panel with indicators/gauges for water temprature, oil pressure, RPM and starter switch. Silencer, Remote controller Assembly with 2 Nos cable 12 mtr in length each. fuel pipe kit coupled with Dong-I make Hydraulic Marine Gearbox Model DMT 50 A RATIO 3:12:1 (c) Battery 12 V 25 Plate 180 AH with socket and terminals 2 Nos each and battery cable 5 mtr in length. (Quantity-2 Nos)

Removing and replacing the old electical circuits/wires/points/switches/illuminators etc including Installation, testing & commisioning of new LED lights and switches including wiring with auto cable copper wire etc where ever required and as per the direction of EIC, including cost of all labour charges, cost of minor tools, cost of materials, transportation charges etc., complete.

(a) Wiring for light point point with auto cable in casing and caping/conduit pipe

(b)Wiring for 3 pin plug 5A/16A, with auto cable in casing and caping and including providing and fixing 3 pin 5A/16A flush switch.

(c)Wiring for circuit wiring with auto cable in casing andcapping/ including cost of all labour charges, cost of all materials etc.

(d) Fixing 4 way metal clad MCB Box SPN, 230 volts with butral link, earth connection and MCB's including drilling holes on the boards connection etc as required.

(e) Fixing of switch fuse/ change over switch( MCB type)unit 32 A/63A 3 phase, including drilling holes giving connection, earthing the metal parts including cost of all labour charges minor tools & plants, required,cost of all materials etc complete. materials

Launching the above crafts after completion of repair works from the beached position into the lagoon and safe anchoring as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge including cost of all labour charges but excluding the cost of launching materials which will be provided by the department on free of cost.

Attending miscellanious works such as re-fixing of available brackets for communication system, stand for VHF, stand for binaucular, re-fixing of existing glass pannels, etc. including cost of all labour charges, cost of minor tools etc complete.
