General overhauling of air handling units hot water generator of Central heating plant with allied mechanical works at Govt. Psychiatric disease hospital Srinagar

Complete overhauling of AHU'S(Dynaflow makefed by Brown Boveri and cie motors) by way of dismantling of metallic filters,air dampers,shields,motors,belts,blowers and finned hot water coils etc.All the dismantled parts are to be cleaned and washed using detergent,high presurre water jets and kerosene/diesel.the coils are to be descaled by circulating sulphamic acid powder with appropriate quantity of water for 4 -5 hrs till working PH is achieved (PH of 1-2).All necessary items viz.pumping units,buckets,piping and litmus paper (PH 1-7),gaskets,nuts and bolts,dhoti cloth shall be arranged by the executing agency.Further the job includes greasing of bearing pins and the moving parts and testing of AHU's for noiseless operation and satisfactory performance . The job also consists of checking out leaks to the hot water coils and repairing of the same. The job also includes alignment of the shaft and dampering of the vibrations. The job also includes repairing of the blower fan for smooth functioning. All tools and tackles,consumable items which shall be required during execution of work shall have to be provided by contractor.The job also includes providing and fixing of new ball bearings and V-belts on each below capacity air handling units

AHU of MALE WARD :- AHU having capacity of 8750 CFM ,two rows of coils and blower coupled with 10 H.P 3-phase electric motor,V-belts size B-78 (02 no's) and 02 no's of ball bearings of size 6206 make SKF

AHU of FEMALE WARD :- AHU having capacity of 6000 CFM ,two rows of coils and blower coupled with 7.5 H.P 3-phase motor,V-belts(2 no's) B-72 size and 2 no's of plumber block bearings of size P-206 make SKF

Cleaning walls of AHU rooms ,inlet of the return duct and the glazed windows of dust and dirt.The floor of the AHU room has to be washed

Cleaning, descaling, repairing the Plate type Heat Exchanger installed inside the boiler house.The job includes dismantling of the heat exchanger and circulating through it a solution of de-scaling compound, sulphamic acid powder of Thermax Make (approx . 5 kg) and water continously for 3 Hr with the help of pump while maintaining a PH of 1-2. The solution is to be circulated from a tank/barrel/trays.The heat exchanger shall be then refitted ,tested and commissioned after completing the descaling job in full.The job includes replacement of ,defective nuts, bolts, gaskets etc. as shall be required .The tools and tackles required for the job and any other consumables shall be provided by the contractor.

Opening of the Thermax Make AMW-06 model Hot Water Generator. Dismounting of the burner gun assembly ,removing the front plate ,coilfrom it by employing chain block.The job then involves throughly removing soot and carbon deposits by using wire brush, scrapers and blower from shell and coil . The inside of the coil will be cleaned by circulating through it a solution of de-scaling compound, sulphamic acid powder of Thermax Make (approx . 25 Kg) and water continously for 24 hr with the help of pump while maintaining a PH of 1-2. The solution is to be circulated from a tank/barrel/trays.All consumable items viz. Brushes,detergent,diesel/kerosene oil,dhoti cloth required shall be arranged by the contractor.The job also involves dismantling/cleaning of the burner gun,cleaning of nozzle,diffuser plate,electrodes.All other accesories of the boiler shall also be opened and cleaned similarly.The HWG shall be again reassembled ,tested and commissioned after overhauling.The job includes replacement of all seals ,gaskets,asbestos rope.Asbestos felt,asbestos sheet,defective nuts, bolts etc. as shall be required .The job also includes P/F of fuel nozzle of matching capacity. All the tools and tackles required for the job including fuel for testing and any other consumables shall be provided by the contractor.

Complete cleaning of radiators installed inside various blocks of the Hospital. . The job includes removing of dirt etc, between aluminium fins either by using blower or manually by using suitable size wire brushes followed by impinging high pressure water. The inside of radiator shall be cleaned by circulating a solution of sulphuric acid powder of Thermax (Max clean) make and water of required strength continuously for 1 hour or water more with the help of pump so that the working pH is achieved (pH between 1 to 2). The solution is to be circulated from a tank /barrel. All tools and tackles required for the job shall be arranged and provided by the firm.

Complete dismantling of the Hot air diffuses of size2'' * 1.5" installed in male ward of the Hospital.The job includes removing of dirt etc.between fins either by using blower or manually bby using suitable size wire brushs followeed by impinging high pressure water.The diffusers shall be fitted to their respective p0laces with replacement opf all seals,gaskets etc as per the site requirement.
