Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows (Sl No 1.01 to 23.05):- (a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints.(From sl No 1.01 to 23.05) (b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns of GE (Air Force ) Bamrauli including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (From sl No 1.01 to 23.05) (c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood free from knots and cracks else specified in drg. (where ever applicable ) (d) Anti-termite and anti-bug treatment shall be done before polishing the wooden items. (where ever applicable) (e) M&L for melamine polish high gloss/mate finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of existing polish making surfae smooth by sanding and grinding with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. Note: All material will be used to execute the work should be supplied by contractor in full no peacemeal material will be execpted. (for wdn item ) (f) M&L for painting two coat of hammer Tone paint with shade as approved by EIC/GE over a coat of primer through spray machine , both internally & externally to the following furniture articles, viz F/FD/DB/MAP/TP series or similar items including removing of dust, dirts,dents etc and existing paint both internally & externally by applying paint remover/scrapping with emery paper without damaging to surface , applying putty to level the surface before primer/painting, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. There will be a one day gap between every stage of painting. (for steel furniture)

M&L for painting two coat of hammer Tone paint with shade as approved by EIC/GE over a coat of primer through spray machine , both internally & externally to the following furniture articles, viz F/FD/DB/MAP/TP series or similar items including removing of dust, dirts,dents etc and existing paint both internally & externally by applying paint remover/scrapping with emery paper without damaging to surface , applying putty to level the surface before primer/painting, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. There will be a one day gap between every stage of painting.

Poishing of various type of TP furniture with Duco Paint by scrubing of the full existing polish of the furniture with water paper/ sand paper with disturbing the surface of the the furniture and applying two coat of duco paint with proper spray painting machine and gun to give it aesthatic or uniform look as required complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.There should be atleast one day gap in each step during polishing.

MS Flat iron of size 40x5mm duly painted with two coat of black colour synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer to be fixed over the long rails equal to existing width of Charpoy including drilling holes suitably as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Painting of two coat of black colour synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer to MS Flat iron be fixed over the long rails equal to existing width of Charpoy including drilling holes suitably as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

GI Elbow 3 way 32 mm dia medium grade ISI Marked complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

Check nuts 32 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

Welding work wherever required as directed by EIC

Bin Linen Multipurpose (FD/E6/MAP/09)

Cabinet box complete with vertical and horizental partitions made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood (Make: Green Gold from Greenply/Gold from Archidply/ Bond 710 from Century ply)) over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm ( Make: Greenply/Archidply/Century ply) of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive on one side and deco paint to be applied two coats on other side all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Back ply shall be 12 mm BWR grade as per drg.

Cabinet door made out of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood (Make: Green Gold from Greenply/Gold from Archidply/ Bond 710 from Century ply)) over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm ( Make: Greenply/Archidply/Century ply) of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive for both sides all as directed by GE/EIC and drg. SS Piano higes shall be used for fixing. Lock (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) and CP Handle 4" (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) be provided in Cabinet all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg.

Drawer made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of approved shade by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive as approved by EIC/GE in front, sides shall be of 1st class teak wood and bottom of drawer shall be 9 mm thick BWP Plywood complete. Telescopic channel (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) and CP Handle 4" (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Duco paint to be applied two coats in all surfaces except front of drawers.

Base Frame structure to be made complete with 25mm dia PVC shoe all as specified and as per drg.

Fancy Knob SS CP as per sample held in yard.

REPAIR TO TABLE OFFICE OFFICER WOODEN :-

Material and labour for in replacement of top of table office officer wooden with 18/19 mm thick pre-laminated particle board (exterior grade), ISI marked, commercial type ( Shade and texture natural teak) and 4 mm thick half round first class teak wood edging all around the table top, complete, all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed .

Material and labour for in replacement of leg of table of required size made of well seasoned 1st class teak wood,, complete, all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed .

Material and labour for in replacement of CPU, UPS shelf of table computer of Make: Godrej/ durian/ or equivant with similar to the existing shelf complete , all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed .

Material and labour for preparation of old / new surfaces of any description by scrapping, rubbed down by emery paper including filled up the cracks and pores with a paste and putty and powder coating through due process with finish complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable powder coated telescopic channels of 1.6mm thick and S & F new powder coated telescopic channels of 1.6mm (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/ Klazovyn) thick fitted in drawers complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed.

Material and labour in replacement for old cloth and cushion for seat of chair dining by taking out seat changing cloth of seat and back with leather / crape or matti of not less than Rs 200/- per meter including changing / replacement of foam cushion of seat and back with 32 density foam (as approved) of required existing thickness and size including all new hardware and accessories and refixing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable powder coated telescopic channels of 1.6mm thick and S & F new powder coated telescopic channels of 1.6mm (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/ Klazovyn) thick fitted in drawers complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old / new surfaces of any description by scrapping, rubbed down by emery paper including filled up the cracks and pores with a paste and putty and applying powder coating paint of approved quality with finish complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- Credit shown in credit schedule of tender document shall be considered by the tenderer while quoting the rates of various items. The same shall be recovered from various payment to contractor before handing over old material
