Regular tower to tower ground patrolling and tower top patrolling wherever required of approximate 278.089Km. long various 132 KV lines Under ETD,Etawah, detection of defects like missing/theft tower members, hot point, puncture/flash over of disc insulator and vibration dampers, damaged conductor/earthwire, checking of foundation and tower legs, earthing & position of tree in 27 Meter wide line corridor. Patrolling shall be done on quarterly basis i.e. 4 times in a year and preparation of patrolling report on UPPTCL Performa. Total 278.089 x 4 times = 1112.356Km

Opening/Cutting of nut & bolts of remaining cut pieces of tower members stolen by miscreants to be opened/cut safely with the help of gas cutter/hacksaw blade including all required labour and T&P for proper completion of work satisfactory.

Fabrication & fixing of tower parts/members from GI angle scrap including carriage of steel angles from Sub-station store, punching holes for proper placement, tightening of nuts & bolts, punching & chamfering at different tower location of above Transmission line and all other associated work to complete the job satisfactorily as per technical specification.

Tack welding of new nut & bolts.

Repairing of damaged jumpers with the help of PG clamp at tension towers.

Replacement of damaged/puncture polymer/disc Insulator string at different tower location including carriage of material from store to work site of the above line and all other associated work to complete the job satisfactorily as per technical specification. For Suspension String.

Replacement of damaged/puncture polymer/disc Insulator string at different tower location including carriage of material from store to work site of the above line and all other associated work to complete the job satisfactorily as per technical specification. For Tension String

Looping Chopping and cutting of trees branches in the 27 Meter corridor of above lines and stacking of above cuttings at proper place far from the line.

Removing of bird’s nest from different towers in respect of above lines

Tightening/fixing of missing/displaced vibration dampers/arcing horn.

Tightening of jumpers at tension towers on both end at tension tower and replacing nut, bolt & washer if required.

Attending conductor break down fault by providing, repair sleeve/Mid span compression joints /PG Clamp including lowering down of conductor and re-hoisting, restringing tensioning etc. of the same up to 1 Km. alongwith associated works to complete the job as per technical specification.

Repairing of damaged ACSR Panther conductor by using repair sleeves.

Attending breakdown of earthwire/tightening of loose earthwire per span alongwith associated works to complete the job satisfactorily as per technical specification.

Attending conductor break down fault by providing, repair sleeve/Mid span compression joints /PG Clamp including lowering down of conductor and re-hoisting, restringing tensioning etc. of the same more than 1 Km. and upto 02 Km. along with associated works to complete the job as per technical specification.

Repairing of conductor by providing repairing sleeve when conductor down to earth during attending Breakdown of conductor as mentioned in item No. 9 and 12.

Attending breakdown of broken/ failed disc insulator string by replacement of broken disc insulator string with fresh disc insulator string and rehoisting of conductor up to cross arm and fixing it with suspension clamp and all other associated work to complete the job satisfactorily as per technical specification.

Emergency patrolling of above lines during tripping to detect the exact fault location & type of fault.
