REPAIR/MAINT OF TRANSFORMERS, VCBs AT 33 MRS, 19 WING UNDER GE (AF) BORJHAR

M&L for dehydration/reconditioning of the transformer oil of distribution/power transformer through filters, centrifuges and vaccum dehydrators complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note : (i) After dehydration/reconditioning the transformer oil, the contractor should submit test reports of minimum 2 Nos of sample from any Govt recognised lab for the following parametes:- (a) Break down voltage, (b) Flash point, (c) Interfacial report (d) Precipitable sludge (e) Sediments and sludge (f) Water content , (g) Neutralization value (Total Acidity) (h) Resistivity (j) Di-electric dissipation factor.The under mentioned process and fill up the level of the reqd quantity all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Before carry out the work, Shut down power to the transformer and ground all of the metal eqpts that will be involved in changing the transformer oil, however all safety precaution as per OEM recommendations must be followed. (b) Open the transformer drain plug and refill the unit withTransformer oil, dehydration will carry out till achieving the desired value of oil (i.e. 60 KV with gape of 2.5 mm and then re-test the transformer insulation and after the second insulation test, allow the unit to sit overnight.) (c) Check the leaks in the next morning. if no leak are detected, energize the unit on "NO LOAD". Let is sit energized for at least three hours and then put the transformer "ON LOAD". Recheck the unit in the next day looking for leaks, pressure and temp deviations. (d) If any type of leaks of transformer detected, rectify the defects and follow the process as mentioned in Srl No 1 (c). Note : Transformer New oil required for Top up quantity shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for topping up transformer oil of the transformer (Power Transformer 33/ 11KV, 2 MVA ) with new transformer oil [conforms to IS 335 :1993] including necessary filtration & dehydration and fill up the level of the required quantity all as specified and directed. Make- Savita/Power/Servo

M&L for replacement of silicagel for breather of transformer of any type and capacity incl replacement of oil seal (as reqd) incl. taking down old one all as specified and directed. Make- As per sample kept at GE's Office

M&L for onsite servicing, testing & commissioning of VacuumCircuit Breaker 11KV, Make CG/ Areva/ Schneider by undermentioned process :- (a) Cleaning of Vacuum Circuit Breaker with electrical contact cleaner like CRC 2-26 or equivalent. (b) Checking the contact grease and re-greasing the same with recommended grease (c) Check the condition of SIC contacts (d) Checking condition and alignment of jaw contact. (e) Checking and proper tightening of hardware (as reqd) (f) Checking proper closing of all pole togethers (g) Checking of CT & PT (h) Busbar cleaning & re-insulating with sleeves, checking electrical circuit and Relay setting (j) Checking of breaker tripping through push button (k) Checking & resetting others electrical and mechanical mechanism (l) Replacement of existing neoprene rubber gasket of the enclosure with new one with existing type & size (m) Repainting of the enclosure with inner surface (as required) as per existing shade incl treating the old painted surfaces complete. Note: (i) Any control circuit connections, replacement of control cable or replacement of fuses /fuse bases are reqd during maintenance are deemed to be included in this quoted rate. (ii) During maintenance of VCBs any spares as reqd at site shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (iii) The repai/servicing shall be carried out through authorised dealer of OEM

M&L for testing and calibration of trippling mechanism system by injecting kit and setting of over current and earth fault as per peak load complete for 11 KV HT VCBs including providing of "Test Reports" by State/Central Govt certified Engineer of approprite voltage of the tested eqpts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for replacement of 11 KV indoor VCB space heater of existing make (as per site requirement) complete all as specifield and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of 11 KV indoor VCB thermostate 30-110 volts of existing make (as per site requirement) complete all as specifield and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of 11 KV indoor VCB copper busbar 50/10 suitable for 800 A complete match with the existing all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Material and labour for replacement of 11 KV indoor VCB copper busbar sleeves with PVC slevees suitable for existing size of 50/10 complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for replacement of rubberised cork sheet of 8 to 10 mm thick on the top of the transformer body of 33/11 KV, 2MVA transformer as per OEM recommendations complete all as specified and directed. Note: Note:- If any additives (such as Belzona Paste) are reqd to prevent leakage during replacement of rubberised cork sheet may be used as per OEM's recommendations.

M&L for replacement of rubber gasket of both side HT/ LT bushing of 33/11KV, 2 MVA transformer as per OEM's recommendations all as specified and directed.

S&F danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white with letter, figures and conventional skull & bones in signal red colour & fixed with MS clamps, bolts, nuts of size 25 x 20cm for HT 33 KV complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacment of copper plate earthing complete with copper earth plate 900x600x5 mm thick with charcoal and salt and treating the surrounding soil with magnesium sulphate, burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.4 mtr deep below ground level) with top edged of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to copper strip 32x6 mm earth lead by means of brass nuts, bolt, check nut and washer and protection pipe for earth strip from earthing plate to the equipment/test point/panel (80 mm bore light grade), watering pipe from plate to earthing pit (20 mm dia medium grade) funnel with wire mesh . Earth pit made up of PCC 1:3:6 type C1 and pit cover made up of 40 mm thick pre cast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with 6 mm dia TMT rod and suitable handle of 8 mm dia TMT rod incl necessary earth work complete all as shown in SSR Part-I Plate No 4 as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note : (i) The copper stripe and protection pipe beyond 7.5 mtr lenght shall be measured and paid separetly. However, earthwork for the same is deemed to be included in this rate. (ii) Chemical like megnasium sulphate of min qty 150 kg for treatment of surrounding soil is deemed to be include in this rate. (iii) The desire value of earth resistance is less than 01Ω on testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost, otherwise it will not be measured and paid to the contractor. (iv) The appx size of earth work for chemical treatment soil and earthing is 2.4 mtrx1.5 mtr x 0.6m ( D x L x W) and form work of size 1.2m x 0.9m x 0.6m for pouring charcoal and salt is deemed to be included in this rate. (v) During earth work if surface water found at site, cost of dewatering through pumpset is deemed to be included in this rate.

M&L for replacment earth continuty conductor of main eathing lead with copper earth strip 32mm x 6 mm) or main earthing lead fixed to wall with bridge insulator/duct/roof or any other indicated location for loop earthing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Supply and fix in repair/replacement of pipes galvanised light grade of size 50 mm dia complete with all fittings to wall/ceiling/laid under ground /Pole through MS Flat clamps of size 25x3mm, nuts & bolts and washers (as reqd) of proper size for protection of cable/strip all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Material and labour for replacement of analogue type meters (Volt meter and Amper meter) with digital type volt and amper meter with control wiring suitable and with stand for 33 KV transformer remote control complete all as specified and directed by Engr in chrage.

Material and labour for replacement of HT PT fuze suitable for 11 KV VCB Panel of suitable ampere rating (3.15 Amps) (as per existing size and sample) complete all as specified and directed by Engr in chrage.

Material and labour for replacement of LT PT fuze suitable for 11 KV VCB Panel of suitable ampere rating (2 Amps) (as per existing size and sample) complete all as specified and directed by Engr in chrage.
