Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. not exc 10 sq. m on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and for laying cables and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for broken brick hardcore 150 mm thick of gauge exc 63 mm but n exc 100 mm deposited , spread and levelled in layers n exc 15 cm thick, watered and rolled rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 75 mm thick cement concrete type D-2,1:4:8(using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub floor complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 Type D2 (using40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for brick work in cement mortar (1:6) using sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 mtr mean radius complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for construction of valve pit of size 90 cm x 90 cm x 1.0 m (internal dimensions), stone/ brick construction, including all necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning, filling in disposal of surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed, PCC in foundation of the mix (1:2:4) type B-2, brick masonary in cement mortar (1:4) rendering 12 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) internally, finished even and smooth and pointing flush externally as the work proceeds in the same mortar.
