M&L for carrying out soil investigation for 1 No boring of 150mm dia bore hole as per IS-1892:1979 specifications for soil/Soft Rock and with NX Size in ROCK as per Site situation /conditions including mobilization / demobilization of drilling equipments /rig and shifting of entire arranngement/ equipments/ machinaries and setting of boring /drilling rig as required for bore hole locations at site as directed by Engr-in-Charge and Collection of disturbed/undisturbed samples at 1.5 Mtr interval or at change of strata as per relevant latest IS code and conducting necessary Lab tests and detailed results to be given as per relevant IS code and preparation of soil investigation reports complete all as specified and as directed by Eng-in-Charge upto depth of 10 metres or if refusal surface is encountered then bore depth will be terminated after 1.5 metre getting into refusal surface upto max depth of 10 metres at following 02 sites:- a) Single JCOs Living Accn of 977 AD Regt Wksp b) Elevated sentry Post for 977 AD Regt Wksp

Note: - (a) SPT (IS 2131:81) will be conducted at every 1.5m interval and change of strata along the borehole and test reports to be submitted on format as per IS 2131-1982 (Para 4.1)

(b) The following tests shall be conducted on the disturbed and undisturbed samples obtained and results included in the report :- (i) Dry density and moisture content,(IS- 2720 Part- 2 & 29) (ii) Particle size seive analysis (IS-2720 Part-4 1985) (iii) Void Ratio and Porasity (iv) Bulk and dry density (v) liquid limit and plasticity limit,plasticity index (vi) Ground water table (vii) SPT chart (viii) Soil characteristics and classification Value of cohesion and angle of internal friction (ix) Direct shear tests (IS-4434) / unconfined compression test (as applicable for type of soil) on disturbed samples recovered from SPT test (x) Bore logging. (xi) Specific gravity (IS 2720 Part -3/sec 2 1980), (xii) Atterberg's Limit - (IS-2720 Part-5 1985) (xiii) Chemical analysis of sub soil, (xiv) Consolidation test (IS 2720 Part -15 1986) ,

(xv) Differential free swell test in case of expansive soil, (xvi) Modulus of sub grade reation (xvii) Studies of settlement characteristics of soil based on consolidation tests (xviii) Stratification of soil for entire depth on bore log organic matter if any , (xix) Triaxial compression test and determination of shear parameteres as per relavent IS, (xx) Spl lab test in case of rocky strata such as un confined compressive strength,tensile /shear strength, RQD-quality index for rocky. (xxi) Harmful salt (xxii) Organic matters in soil if any strata and point load test and other tests if any for classification of rocky strata as per IRC/BIS i.e soft or hard rock categorically. The reports shall be as per NBC is-1982,2131,2132,1888,2720,1904,6403,8009,1498,4968,and SP-36 in general .

(a) Detailed description of feild investigation , soil classfication and general nature of soil strata, water table, interpretation of test results grain size distruibution curves, compressive index curves,Site plan etc , stree-strain modulus (by stree strain curves from triaxial tests) Foundation analysis & recommendation with supporting calciulations regarding foundation system of foundation. (b) Undisturbed samples (all as per IS-2132) shall be obtained at every 1m intervals and specially in clayed strata where encountered and where change of strata is (noticed) issuing standard samples 30 to 50 cms long (area ratio not exceeding 10%) these samples shall be used for carrying out laboratory consolidation in all clayey strata there undisturbed sample shall also used for carrying out unconfined compression test (IS-2720) and consolidated drained triaxial shear strength tests. (c) The SBC of the soil is required to be given as per following table, calculation of bearing capacity will be governed generally as per IS 80009 (Pt-i) 1976 , IS 2720 (Ph-II) 1980, IS 6043-1980, IS-1904 -1986 & 1080-1985 and other relevant IS codes and detailed calcualtion duly showing the various soil parameters/indicies shall be given in the soil report:- Depth of foundation safe bearing capacity of T/M2 for foooting size remarks Strip footing 1.2x1.2m , 1.5mx1.5m, 2mx2m, 2.5mx2.5m. 1m,1.5m,1.0m,2.5m.

(d) Test cost of boring is deemeded to include all the Sampling transportation to laboratory tests, all as specified and report submission.

(e) Crushing strength of Hard rock samples recovered from drilling through hard rock strata

(f) Chemical analysiss of water for ph sulphate and chloride contents.

(g) The rates are inclusive of mobilization & de-Mobilization of tools,plant and equipment,transportation ,erection and dismantling of all required equipment at site including deployment of suitable manpower required etc complete all as required .

(h) Safe bearing capacity (SBC) of soil at every 1.50 depth based on 'N'value ,shear strength and settlement crieteria

(i) Recommended SBC at different depth of foundations seperatetly for the portions with and without basement and depth of ground Water Table details .

(j) Recommondation for type of foundation and Recommondation for filling under floors and filling under protection including plinth protection

(k) Photographic record of geo-exploration shall also be submitted along with reports.

(l) Compilation of field and lab test data /results and submission of detailed soil investigation /Geotechnical report sixtrupicate (06 Nos)in hard copies with spiral binding and 01 Nos of soft copy in 1no. CD. Thequoted rate is inclusive of all the above including site clearance and removal of any type of vegetation ,grass,shurbs,roots,branches,bushes, locating and relocating the drill machinery of bore hole drilling along with connected fittings and fixtures as etc from the site for carrying out soil expolration at location/site as directed by Eng-in-charge. The period of soil invetigation report and suggestions, remarks will be upto the end of the project which inculdes cost of printing of reports ,reamrks, suggestions which are essential for building sturcture design anlysis etc without any extra financial cost till the completion of above subject project.

a) STAGE-I : STRUCTURAL DESIGN & ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS: Preparation and submission of structural /architectural drawings for three Nos Single JCOs Living Accn of 977 AD Regt Wksp of approx 130 SQM area in G+2 config. It includes the following :- (i) Analysis and design of the buildings as per latest Indian Standard codes in design software STAAD Pro/ETABS (Member/Component’s design may be carried out in MS Excel/SAFE etc also). (ii) Preparation of structural drawings including all details in AUTO CAD and submission of original prints in tracing paper of A1 size, submission of 5 more sets of prints in A1 Size and one set of drawings in soft copy in a CD. All drawings shall be drawn to a suitable scale. Scale shall be clearly mentioned in the drawings. Details : (i) Submission of Design folder (one set of soft copy and hard copy) containing input files of STAAD/Output of design and forces in tabular form in case of ETABS, details of calculations, copy of MS Excel pages, one hard copy of architectural and structural drawings, soft copy of all architectural drawings and structural drawings in AUTOCAD as well as soft copies of signed and certified drawings scanned in PDF format. Notes :- (i) The design shall be carried out by qualified Structural Engineers. (ii) All provisions in the IS codes shall be strictly followed as per Mumbai Zone (iii) The Arch drawings shall be got approved from User before starting structural design. (iv) The consultant will be liable to attend for discussions and tender presentation after submission of drawings and issue required amendments to drawings / corrections as directed by the Department without any extra cost. The rates quoted herein will include the cost of any no copies of such drawings. (v) The consultant may also visit the proposed site before carrying out the design if required by him without any extra cost to the Department.

STAGE-II : ESTIMATES, BOQ AND YARDSTICK: Preparation of detailed estimates and stage wise yardstick for all buildings including taking off quantities and abstracts of estimated cost as per present Market rate . Preparation of costed schedule (BOQ) for Internal services , External services of (B/R) & (E/M) and submission of above mentioned estimates and stage wise yardstick to AGE Office as per the approval drawings. (i) Submission of site plan, layout plan. (ii) Submission of Structural drawings (iii) Submission of detailed working drawings (iv) Submission of three sets of structural/architectural drawings. (v) Line plan duly marked with B/R services, as per design & plinth area statement.
