MISCELLANEOUS DEVELOPMENTAL CIVIL WORKS AT NALCO COMMUNITY CENTRE AND AMBEDKAR STADIUM IN NALCO TOWNSHIP, DAMANJODI

Removing the excavated materials, debris of any description and any other waste materials, spoil heaps including loading into trucks/tractors using baskets by head load or any other means and transporting by trucks/tractors and unloading at the earmarked places etc. complete with lead upto 1 km.

Earthwork in Excavation over areas in all kinds of soil (exceeding 30 cm in depth,1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan),including disposal of excavated earth within a lead of 50 mtrs and lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.

Back filling with available excavated earth (excluding rocks) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50 Mtr and lift up-to 1.5 Mtr.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Coarse sand: 4 Graded stone aggregates of 20mm nominal size) at all depths below and upto plinth level in foundations, footings, non-suspended floors including tamping, curing etc. but excluding the cost of centering and shuttering etc. as specified or directed in any shape, position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth etc. all complete. (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles of approved make (H & R Johnson / Nitco / orient / somany / Kajaria or equivalent), fullbody / Double charge / Rustic / Glossy / Matt finish in different sizes of 10.5 mm thickness, with water absorption less than 0.08 % and conforming to I.S. 15622, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments including hacking where required all complete as per instruction of EIC . (GREY CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE). White cement required for the work shall be in the contractor's scope. Size of Tile 600x600 mm

Providing and laying 12mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar (1 cement : 6 fine sand) using approved sand including curing etc. all complete for all height. ( CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

Providing and laying 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 fine sand ) on the rough sides of single or half brick wall or masonary work using approved type of sand including curing etc all complete for all height. (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. (old work)

Distempering two or more coats on new work / old work with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturer's specification.

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade in new / old work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm) :

Providing and fixing aluminium work with Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions for fixed portions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make (i.e. JINDAL / HINDALCO or equivalent make), fixing with dash fastners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, and joined mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, locking cleat for locking arrangement, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, screws, all complete as per drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (No wastage will be paid). (Glazing, paneling to be paid for separately).

Providing and fixing aluminium work with Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) for shutters of doors, windows (Sliding or Casement) & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of rubber / neoprene gasket required. (fittings shall be paid separately). Brick work with fly ash bricks in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand).at any shape including curing, etc. complete in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 coarse sand) in foundation and Plinth. (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE / ISSUE POINT)

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M -30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid door/window/clerestory windows & desertory with frame size 65 x 100 mm other Frames / Chowkhat comprising of virgin PVC polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with miter joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws having minimum frame density of 750 kg/ cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2200 N (Face) & 1100 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength of 58 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 900 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant and fixed in position with M.S hold fast/lugs/SS dash fasteners of required dia and length complete as per direction of Engineer-In- Charge. (M.S hold fast/lugs or SS dash fasteners shall be paid for separately). Note: For WPC solid door/window frames, minus 5mm tolerance in dimensions i.e depth and width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimensions on plus side shall be acceptable but no extra payment on this account shall be made

Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid plain flush door shutter of required size of 30 mm thick comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) having minimum density of 650 kg/cum and screw withdrawal strength of 1800 N (Face) & 900 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength 50 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 850 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant and fixing with stainless steel butt hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws, all as per direction of Engineer-In- Charge. (Note: stainless steel butt hinges and necessary S.S screws shall be paid separately)

Floor painting with floor enamel paint of two or more coats on new/ old work of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade.

Providing and laying Reinforced Cement Concrete works Up to Plinth level with RCC grade 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 sand : 4 graded stone aggregates of 20mm nominal size) at slabs, roofs, stair cases, landing slabs, canopies, chajjas, bends, lintels, columns, walls, beams, lofts, projections, manhole covers, gully trap covers, valve chambers etc. as per drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge at all heights and depths including vibration for consolidation, curing etc. complete excluding cost of centering and shuttering & steel reinforcement. (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

Centering and shuttering in foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete including struting, propping etc. and removal of form for foundations, footings, columns, suspended floors, roofs, landings, shelves, lintels, beams, chajjas, girders, bressumers, cantilevers, pillers, posts, struts and stair cases and types of RCC work at all heights and depth as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Centering and shuttering in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc. and removal of form for foundations, footings, columns, suspended floors, roofs, landings, shelves, lintels, beams, chajjas, girders, bressumers, cantilevers, pillers, posts, struts and stair cases and types of RCC work at all heights and depth as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Bending / Binding and placing in position reinforcement for all type of RCC work at all height and depths, carting / transport them form store/issue points to site of work, straightening, bending, binding to required shape and size as per details, including supplying and binding with soft annealed binding wire and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, etc all complete. (REINFORCEMENT STEEL SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

Fabrication/ modification etc. including erection of Structural Steel work true to level and alignment as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge ,including all materials,transporting to workshop,transporting to site, as per requirement for all types of structural steel/all types of doors/shuttrs/all types of windows/all types of ventilators, work including red oxide primer and all tools, tackles, consumables, supervision etc. at all height and locations etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (All the materials are in the scope of contractor)

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Demolishing brick work in cement mortar manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Brick work with fly ash bricks in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)at any shape including curing, etc. complete in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 coarse sand) in foundation and Plinth. ( CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE / ISSUE POINT)

Transportation of A.C.Sheet / C.G.I.Sheet of any size from Central Store to Civil office store for departmental use including loading / unloading and stacking the materials in proper position as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Fixing corrugated G.S. sheet / fiberglass reinforced plastic roofing sheet / precoated galvanised iron profile sheets including vertical / curved surface fixed with G.I / polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers or with G.I. limpet washers filled with white lead, including a coat of approved steel primer and two coats of approved paint on overlapping of sheets complete (up to any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces), excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required. (Corrugated Galavanised Iron / fiberglass reinforced plastic Roofing sheets / precoated galvanised iron profile sheets shall be issued free of cost by NALCO at NALCO's store)

Supplying and applying epoxy anchor bolt for bars of Dia up to 12 mm. with chemical of Hilti / make type RE-500 V3 or Fischer Fis EM585 approved equivalent of approximate length (maximum 300mm long) in concrete to take direct tension of minimum 1.6M ton incuding workmanship drilling cleaning the hole, placing and aligning the fastener, etc as per direction of E-I-C.( Rebar shall be issued free of cost at Nalco store.)

Supplying and applying epoxy anchor bolt for bars of Dia 16 mm. with chemical of Hilti / make type RE-500 V3 or Fischer Fis EM585 approved equivalent of approximate length (maximum 300mm long) in concrete to take direct tension of minimum 1.6M ton incuding workmanship drilling cleaning the hole, placing and aligning the fastener, etc as per direction of E-I-C.( Rebar shall be issued free of cost at Nalco store.)
