Taking down chowkhat or frame not exceeding 1.5 sqm each with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frame).

M&L providing and applying Smartcare Dampproof, a fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with reinforcing acrylic fibers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on horizontal/vertical surfaces of roof/wall/chajas in multiple coats @2.0 litre/sqm. Primary [coat is self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1, damp proof : water) and other coats to be applied undiluted. The coating needs to be reinforced with 40 GSM geotextile, to sandwiched between 2nd & 3rd coat of coating. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.Make: SmartCare Damp Proof of Asian Paints or equivalent in Berger/ Nerolac/STP Ltd.Notes: (1) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only.(2) Authrised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work.(3) All materials shall be procured directly form manufacturer. The purchase voucher shall be produced to the Engineer-in-Charge for his verification of material.Engineer-in-Charge shall deface the original purchase vouchers.(4) Guarantee: The contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment for a period of Eight years in favour of the GE. A sum equivalent to 2.5% (Two point Five Percent) of the cost of water proofing treatment shall be retained by the Govt from the contractor's dues as security deposit. The contractor may, however, furnish a fixed deposit receipt in lieu from a Schedule bank pledged in favour of Garrison Engineer.

M&L for roof treatment as per the description below including dismantling/taking down existing roof treatment complete:- a) preparation of roof surfaces by removing all loose material /dust extra for carrying out water proofing treatment. b) Apply bituminous primer @ 0.3 ltr/Sqm (conforming to IS-3384) on prepared surfaces. After drying of primer apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to (IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/Sqm of prepared surfaces. c) Laying APP (Atatic Polypropylene) modified five layered membrane 3 mm thick and weighing not less than 4 Kg/Sqm with centre core 160 GSM/ Sqm ; core reinforced and laid with 75 mm side overlap and 150 mm end lap. The membrane shall be laid with LPG torch application and overlaps sealed and finished neatly as per the manufacturer specification apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to (IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/Sqm and apply two coat of silver shield bitumestic aluminum paint all as specified.

Engineer-in-Charge shall deface the original purchase vouchers. (d) MOU with authorized applicator will be submitted by contractor before opening of (f) bid. (d) A guarantee amount of 5% of contract of work done for item No 75, 76 and 85 of BOQ will be retained for 5 years of the completion of work.

M & L for preparation of old steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for removal of plant growth by injection with chemical glyphosphate solution (4 % concentration) @ 20 ml or till refuse by cutting or injection in stem of plants or roots at 30 mm. The area shall then be sprayed with solution 25 ml glyphosphate (4% conc) diluted with 1 ltr of water. The size of block shall be of 2 Qtrs on each floor and vary in number of floors. All roots of plants shall be removed completely and making good the disturbed surface and painted with cement base or acrylic paint all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling loose concrete cover of RCC columns,beams,slads chajjas and the like as directed roughening and cleaning concrete surfaces with steel wire brushes washed with water and allowed to dry including de rusting of steel reinforcement to providing fabric mild steel wire mesh 75X75X3 mm dia as reinforcement to concrete surfaces applying adhesive admixture over steel mesh and providing minimium 40 mm thick (average thickness) guiniting mix using 1 part of ordinary portland cement 53 grade and 2 part of ghaggar sand mixed with the pressure of 2 to 2.5 kg per sqm by guinting machine and surfaces finised even and fair upto height of four storey all as specificed.

Demolition of concrete and pavings n.exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level).

M & L for Point wiring complete with 1.5 sqmm single core PVC insulated FRLS cable 1100 volts grade with multi stranded copper conductor drawn through and including non-metalic rigid new PVC conduit medium grade ISI Marked and all conduit accessories concealed in wall/ceiling/fixed to roof/truss/columns etc and including provision of 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated copper cable FRLS as earth continuty, fabricated branded new metal flush box duly make embossed, concealed in walls with for housing switches , socket out let and fan regulators etc , all as specified and as directed for the followings:-
