Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying pipes or foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. n.exc 10sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rectification of existing defective run lead joints including burning and removing the old defective lead joints and providing new lead joints with all required materials and testing the joints for leakages for the following sizes of CI/DI pipes complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Earth work shall be measured separately)

Repair to GI pipe lines of size 15 to 25 mm bore dia and repair to leaked joints of pipe line complete including replacement of GI fitting i.e. union, nipple & sockets if required including excavation and taking up & down required cutting, threading & refixing in position in trenches, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 16 here-in- before but size 40 to 80 MM bore.

M&L for dismantling of old U/S valve pit and making new of size 120x120x90 Cm ( internal dimensions of the chamber) including and removing the debris at a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and M/L for brick masonry with cement mortar with 1: 6 , 23 cm and flush pointing externally work proceeds in the same mortar complete ( using 30% old bricks & 70% New bricks) complete with the following specifications and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :-(i) 10mm thick plaster internally in CM 1:6.(ii) Flooring 40mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 over 75mm thick hard core of gauge not exc 63mm thick. Disconnecting the delivery line and providing dummy plate with nut, bolts to avoid water leakages and M&L for taking out vertical turbine pump /submersible pump set of any make of capacity 20 HP to 35 HP from the tubewell/borewell carefully complete with column pipe for inspecting the condition of column pipe, pump set & flat submersible cable etc. complete all per site requirement complete all as specified and directed. Note:(i) The cost inclusive of necessary T&P of removing vertical turbine/submersible pump set carefully without any damages to pump, motor, shaft, column pipe and casing. Any damages shall be beared by the Contractor at his own cost. (ii) The rate inclusive of dismantling of motor of Vertical turbine pump set.(iii) The M/L for repairs to pump sets/ column pipe/cable if required & measured and paid separately under relevant Schedule.

Lowering vertical turbine pump /submersible pump set of any make of capacity 20 HP to 35HP inside the tubewell/borewell carefully complete with column pipe and other connected parts and including replacement of nut ,bolts, washers, gasket of suitable size all per site requirement and re-connection with delivery line with nut ,bolts, washers, gasket of suitable size all as specified and directed. Note:(i) The cost inclusive of necessary T&P of lowering vertical turbine/submersible pump set carefully without any damages to pump, motor, shaft, column pipe and casing. Any damages shall be beared by the Contractor at his own cost. (ii) The rate inclusive of re-connection of motor of Vertical turbine pump set.

S & F in replacement of oil seal of motor of capacity 20 HP to 35 HP, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Strip opening of 3 phase AC submersible motor, taking out burnt winding coil complete and re-winding with PVC insulated super quality water proof winding wire including PVC seal (water proof compound) and thrust bearing as per requirement of existing size and make, re-assembling the motor and testing complete of capacity 20 to 35 HP motor.

Taking out worn out bearing/ bush sleeves from the submersible motor of capacity 20 to 35 HP and providing new stainless steel, turning and polishing of bushes complete including checking of alignment complete in all respect all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of thrust bearing plate along with disc of motor of capacity 20 HP to 35 HP, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling the submersible pumping set bowl assembly/motor of any make for carrying out repair and replacement of worn out parts by strip opening with all parts such as bowl casing, impellers, pump shaft, bushes neck ring etc.and machine work such as welding, turning, re-facing where required and replacing of parts of pump of 4 to 9 stages, size 150mm, of capacity 20 HP to 40 HP capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Spares parts and their fixing shall be paid separately under the respective item of schedule 'A'

S&F in replacement of pump shaft of stainless steel suitable for submersible pump set up to 9 stages including threading, cutting to required size all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of gun metal/ Stainless Steel impellers of suitable size for bowl assembly of submersible pumping set as per site requirement for suction, discharge and intermediate bowls complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of cast iron casing suction/ discharge/ intermediate with studs, all as required at site and directed.

S & F in replacement of shaft seal of rubber all as specified.

S & F in replacement neck ring of bowls suction/discharge/ intermediate all as required at site and directed.

S & F in replacement of gun metal bush of bowls all as required at site and directed.

S & F in replacement of rubber bushes of bowls assembly of suitable, make and model as per existing for suction and discharge bowls all as required at site and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of mild steel column pipe coupling 100 mm dia, heavy duty 3.0 Mtr long threaded or flanged all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of mild steel column pipe coupling 80 mm dia, heavy duty 3.0 Mtr long threaded or flanged all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair line shaft bearing retainer of gun metal with rubber bushes for column pipe 150 mm dia all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of stainless steel shaft sleeve of size 25 mm to 31 mm dia all as required at site and directed.

Cutting and removing worn out threaded portion of mild steel column pipe heavy duty and re threading the same up to specified length to match with socket of size 150 mm dia.

Cutting and removing worn out threaded potion mild steel/stainless steel line shaft of any dia, length and rethreading the same up to specified length to match with existing coupling all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair new bolts with nuts and washers in places of existing worn out/unserviceable bowl bolts.

Supply and fixing submersible cable 16 Sqmm copper 3 core all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for chlorination treatment with high stable Calcium based granular disinfectant for water treatment, more stable than Chlorine Gas, and stronger than bleaching powder and sodium Hypochlorite, packing in 45 kg drum complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair chlorination dosing system booster pump of capacity 0.25 HP with suitable coupling as directed.

S&F in repair chlorination dosing system induction motor single phase 230 volts 0.25 HP capacity all as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair automatic star delta submersible starter 3 phase 50 Amp current rating complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs submersible pump controller automatic type in sheet enclosure for maximum motor output 30 HP/22.5 KW with relay max range 28 to 42 Amps suitable for AC -3 duty, 415 V 50 Hz, 3 Phase AC supply with overload, Single Phasing, Phase imbalance, IP 54 enclosure complete with push buttons etc all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs submersible pump controller type in sheet enclosure for maximum motor output 50 HP/37.5 KW with suitable size relay for AC -3 duty, 415 V 50 Hz, 3 Phase AC supply with overload, Single Phasing, Phase reversal, Phase imbalance, IP 54 enclosure complete with Voltmeter & Ammeter, LED indication lamps, push buttons etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs submersible pump controller oil immersed type in sheet enclosure for maximum motor output 50 HP/22.5 KW with relay max range 28 to 42 Amps suitable for AC -3 duty, 415 V 50 Hz, 3 Phase AC supply with overload, Single Phasing, Phase imbalance, auto restart features, IP 54 enclosure complete with push buttons etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair single phase preventor relay with timer for auto restart option with protection features against single phasing, phase reversal, phase unbalance etc. complete with control wiring all as directed.

S&F in repair electronic timers suitable for fully automatic star delta starter panel suitable for 240/360/415 V AC supply operation with timer range 3 to 30 Sec, 12 to 120 Sec complete with control wiring all as directed.

Material and labour for cleaning of over head water tank of capacity above 30000 Glns upto 75000 Glns at 15m to 21 m approx height staging by draining out/bailing out/pumping out the accumulated water at the bottom and removing the complete silt from the sump and depositing and levelling as directed and cleaning the tank with the bleaching powder slurry and wire brush after scrapping the walls and bottom of the tank completely including flushing out inlet/ outlet/ washout pipes/ valves complete without disturbing the water supply to the area including painting the details of sump capacity, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning on the sump wall and applying one coat of white wash to entire sump internally. Three Photographs of inside surface of tank of each OH Tanks should be taken before cleaning & after cleaning and submitted to Engineer-in-charge in coloured hard copy complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Rates are to be including charges of hiring T&P. (ii) Contractor shall be responsible for care and safety of person deployed for cleaning to off reservoir.

M&L for preparation and painting the external surface of over head reservoir wire having staging 18 mtr capacity 50000 to 75000 glns with two coats of exterior grade weather proof Cement base paint After Priming plastered and other surfaces with alkali resistant priming paint and painted to over head tank, railing and iron ladder ,doors with super synthetic, heat resistant paint complete all as specified and directed including all existing writing works with enameled paint complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Rates are to be including charges of hiring T & P. (ii) Contractor shall be responsible for care and safety of person deployed for cleaning to off reservoir. (iii) The paint of incoming and outgoing pipes as per colour coding.

Disconnecting / Removing existing U/S scale type water level indicator and S&F dial type water level indicator suitable for Over Head Storage tank of height 15 m to 21 m staging complete with central movement plate, counter weight, centre dividing wheels, MS/CRCA enclosure, float and connecting control wire system from tank to indicator etc. complete grouted in PCC all as directed including testing and commissioning all as directed.

Note for item No 67 to 69: The rate quoted inclusive of all safety equipments, T&P for carrying out the repair/working on OH tanks and insurance to persons deployed for cleaning the over head tank. Any unforeseen incidents/accidents due to lack of safety norms shall be beared by the Contractor on " No cost basis" without any extra claim from department.

Replacement of unserviceable bleaching dosing plant any model any capacity alongwith components, dismantling and segregation of all parts and depositing them and S&F in repair/replacement Adjustable High pressure, power input 230 V, 50 Hz 40 Spm 1/30 fractional horse power, working pressure upto 15 Kg/sq cm& max output 0-30 ltr/hr with mandatory accessories like lead tubing, connecting ferrule, injector check valve, etc. Accessories must include following:- Preparation tank of min capacity 170 ltrs. FRP dosing tank dia 650X net height 375 + conical 300mm, gross height with stand 1000mm consisting of water inlet line, outlet with Y strainer. Drain, overflow, conical bottom for sludge deposition, pot hole cover, level gauge, Agitator 120 watt 900 rpm single phase flange mounted motor with plastic shaft and impeller and service tank of net capacity 100 ltrs of FRP dosing tank consisting of water inlet line, dosing pump inlet arrangement, drain, overflow level gauge, inspection port, etc along with all the other accessories as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rewinding of existing unsv 3 Phase, 3 HP/ 2.25 KW , 50 Hz, 2820 RPM induction motor any make with super enameled copper winding wire of gauge as per existing including cutting and getting out old US winding, sleeve work, varnishing with E class insulation varnish , threading and making all electric connections including taking out and refixing at site complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rewinding of existing unsv 3 Phase, 5 HP/ 3.75 KW , 50 Hz, 2800 RPM induction motor any make with super enameled copper winding wire of gauge as per existing including cutting and getting out old US winding, sleeve work, varnishing with E class insulation varnish , threading and making all electric connections including taking out and refixing at site all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement aviation LED light die cast aluminium alloy housing red coloured polycarbonate dome & accessories including LED lamp complete, commissioning & testing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair/ servicing to over head water level indicator gauge complete with replacement of float valve steel 200mm, Pully as per site requirement, steel pulling wire, fixing clumps etc and applying two coats of super enameled black paint over a coat of red oxide paint on whole scale and rewriting of existing marking with super enameled white paint to scale of overhead tank /sumps etc complete all as specified and directed. Note-: (i) Rates are to be including charges of hiring T & P. (ii) Contractor shall be responsible for care and safety of person deployed.

M&L for repair to mild steel ladders, grill, covers installed on overhead tank / sumps by replacing of defective /corroded pieces including cutting ,welding & painting with two coat high quality synthetic enamel painted black colour to match existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only water testing kit (Residual chlorine reagent-1) including test tube, dropper etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in-Charge

Note for item No.1 to 85: The work involves of various areas of AGE E/M (S) Pathankot. The Contractor shall depute manpower on daily basis attending and rectifying the job in time. If any breakdowns/ complaints simultaneously occurred in any areas shall be attended simultaneously by deputing additional manpower/ T&P for rectification of defects. The rate quoted deemed to be included for the same. Recovery for non attending of any type rectification/ complaint/ breakdowns shall be at the rate of Rs 2500 per day irrespective nature of complaint/defect.

Note: (i) In case the tenderer quotes different rates for similar item then lowest rate shall only be applicable for payment and contractor shall not have any claim on this account. (ii) The Schedule of Credit amount shall be deducted from the total of this schedule (BoQ) to arrive at Contract Sum.
