Bituminous Concrete: Providing and laying bituminous concrete Grade-II, 40 mm thickness with higher capacity automatic batch type Hot Mix Plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder grade VG-40 @ 5.4% of mix and filler (bitumen binder content 5.4% is minimum, also excess bitumen used over 5.4% shall not payable), transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory, tandem and pneumatic tyre rollers to achieve the desired compaction, including clearing of road surface with mechanical broomer and air compressor, including applying, all complete as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 and technical specifications in NIT, All materials and Mix design must be approve from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work, etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Asphalt Painting: Painting the existing bituminous surface with bitumen of grade VG-30 including cleaning the existing road surface using wire brushes and air compressor for properly cleaning road surface and then applying the bitumen @ 0.75 kg/1.0 sq.mt. with mechanically operated sprayer fitted on bitumen boiler and including flushing fine clean stone dust @ 0.03 cum/10 sq.mt. over the asphalt painted surface including cleaning and disposing of extra stone dust after completion of work within 5 to 10 days and flushing extra stone dust during bitumen bleeding on surface including the cost of material, labour, transportation, royalty charges, heating of bitumen, hire charges of machineries - air compressor, sprayer and all type of labours & materials, (actual weight uses of bitumen in kgs to be measured in the presence of representatives of Engineer-in-charge, less quantity uses above limit to be deducted from payment) during application of bitumen painting existing kerbing/footpath to be covered with plastic etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Road marking with hot applied thermoplastic paints with reflectorising glass beads on bitumin surface providing and laying a hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is excluding of surface applied glass beds as per IRC:35-2015. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. zebra patta /bump patta lane/center line/ edge line/cut patta. The white color marking should provide liminance coefficinet on cemend road shalll be min 130 mcd/m2/lux and Asphalt road shall be min 100 mcd/m2/lux during the service life during the day time. The marking should meet the performance criteria for night time reflectivity, wet reflectivity and skid resistance as mentioned in the section-15 of IRC 35-2015. zebra patta /bump patta lane/center line/ edge line/cut patta, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work, all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Make: Alcolite, Kataline or as approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Cat Eye / Road Stud / RPM: Supplying Raised Pavement Markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with Micro prismatic lens (No Glass bead lens) capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 13635 kgs. tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No.RW/NH/33023 /10-97 Ð DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 20 mm, 130 mm and 130 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The body of the marker should having finger grip for easy and accurate placement and application. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks (2nos. shanks of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kgf. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturers recommended of the marker. And Barrier Wall Reflectors Road Marker. The color of the marker should be as per the IRC 35-2015 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work. (Make: 3M, Ladwa or as approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Painting of Kerb, median, crash barrier, culvert head wall, guard stones etc. with weather proof exterior emulsion paint(two coats) and primer (one coats) of approved brand and manufacture on undecorated wall surface to give an even shade including throughly brushing the surface free from mortar droppings and other foreign matter and sand papered smooth etc. complete, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work. (Make:- Apex Weatherproof Emulsion paint of Asian Paints, Berger, Nerolac or as approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Metal Beam Crash Barrier: Type - A, "W" : Metal Beam Crash Barrier (Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 811) etc. complete, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work.
Painting over Metal Beam Crash Barrier: Finishing with Epoxy paint (two coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer’s specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. Including throughly brushing the surface free from mortar droppings and other foreign matter and sand papered smooth etc. complete. On steel work, existing steel/GI railing. sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work (Paint: Asain Apcolite Advanced, MRF Epidec and primer: Apcolite Advanced MRF Epidec or as approved by Engineer-in-charge)
Cutting of bituminous/flexible pavement to required depth up to 200 mm using mechanical means like road cutter along straight line for trenching or repair work, including disposal of debris and cleaning the surface as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
