1.1 Supply, erection, testing & commissioning complete in all respect following sizes of
DG Sets in acoustic ( sound proof /weather proof) enclosure as per CPCB norms. -
415 Volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM AC alternator coupled with radiator cooled
Diesel Engine complete with all accessories, like self starting device, fly wheel
coupling with guard V belts, radiator with fan, residential type silencers with exhaust
piping, instrument panel comprising of switch with key, battery charging ammeter,
safety control for lube oil pressure and high cooling water temperature with
tripping, high enclosure temperature, emergency stop push button outside the
enclosure, first filling of Engine oil, Gear oil etc. The alternator insulation shall be class
'H' suitable to with stand tropical conditions and shall generally comply with BS 5000
and IS 4722. The over load capacity shall not be less than 110% of rated capacity
for 1 hour in every 12 hours. 24 Volt chargeable battery set complete with suitable
trickle/boost chargers and SMF batteries, battery stand / tray .
The DG set shall be mounted on a fabricated rigid common base frame with anti
vibration mounting to provide not less than 99% vibration isolation.
The DG Set shall include all standard accessories fittings including in built oil tank
with lockable fuel inlet facility and instruments manuals etc. complete as per
required. The vendor shall supply the set with first fill of fuel (HSD).
A suitable forced air circulation and ventilation system shall be provided inside the
acoustic enclosure to meet air requirement for engine aspiration, combustion and
cooling / heat removal to maintain safe operating temperature inside the acoustic
