PAINTING TO RUNWAY, TAXIWAY, DISPERSAL, HELIPADS AND CONNECTED WORKS (MANUAL PAINTING) AT AF STATION YELAHANKA

Material and Labour for one coat of painting lines, dashes, arrows,letters etc on bituminous/ concrete surfaces exceeding 10 cm width, with approved water base paint of colour white, Golden yellow, deep orange, PO red and black as per the requirement in the Air field including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note : Coverage area of paint shall be 6 sqm /Lit by adding 10-15% of potable water(Dispersals and taxi tracks)

M&L for preparation of old concrete/ bituminous surfaces and applying one coat of water based exterior emulsion paint of approved tint exc 10cm width and girth complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old concrete surfaces and applying one coat of cement base paint of approved tint or color over 10 cm girth all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old concrete surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth like control huts and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint all as specified and as directed.(use colour red and white)

M&L for removing existing paint from runway, taxiway and apron by water blasting / sand blasting and disposal of rubbish, dirt and dust from the surface of the runway, taxiway and apron complete all as specified and directed

M&L for one coat of painting lines, dashes, arrows,letters etc on bituminous/ concrete surfaces not exceeding 10 cm width, with approved water base paint of color white, Golden yellow, deep orange, PO red and black as per the requirement in the Air field including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Notes for Ser items No 01 to 07 : Wearing of flourescent waist jacket is mandatory for all the workers while working in the Air field. The quoted rates shall be deemed to be included for the above provisions Note 2: Precaution has to be taken to avoid spilling of paint over existing painted surfaces even after if emulsion spills over painted surfaces it has to be removed immediately to enable the proper subsequent coating of paint
