Removal of Silt and Jungle Clearance in Selected reaches of Distry No 33 from Ch 0.0 to 1.100, 1.510 to 1.900,Dy No 36 Ch 0.00 t1.200, Dy No ch 0.00 to 3.00 ,Lat 1, Ch 0.0 to 900, Lat No 2, 0.0 to 1.500,Lat No 3, 0.0 to 950, Dy No 38 Ch 0.0 to 1.600, Dy No 39 0.0 to 750,1.140 to 2.100, Dy No 40, Dy No No 41,0.0 to 2.800, Dy No 42 0.0 to 500 ,1.00 to 1.800 and Dy No from Ch 0.00 to 1.160 of MLI West Canal for the Year 2026 - 27.

Due to letting of water in canal,there will be deposition of silt and debries in the canal which is obstructing the flow in the canal.The rain water falling on side slopes of canal will also carry soil particles and cause deposition of silt in the bed of canal. The silt is deposited throughout in the bed of distry canal from Dy No 33 to 43 including laterals of MLI west canal. it is necessary to remove the silt during every closure period of canal letting water in canal for next khariff. Jungle is also grown along the SR ,IP and side slopes of canal which is to be cleared.It is necessarry to execute the above works during every closure period.Hence the estimate is prepared for removal of silt and Jungle of distry canal from Dy No 33 to 43 including laterals of MLI west canal.And the Estimate is Prepared as approved programme for the year of 2026 - 27 and Sl No of work si 137.
