M&L for Preparing of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with using air blowers to remove all loose dirt etc complete and applying cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) by spraying with machine of total cold liquid PME 0.89 lit per Sqm (undiluted) for two coats with mineral filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 (PME :WATER) and ensure uniform finish of PME on runway complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions and all as specified and as directed. The tenderer shall take into consideration for the following points while quoting his rate for this item :- (a) Due care shall be taken for testing of friction parameters during application of PME as per ICAO standard. (b) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufacturer only. (c) Care shall be taken to fill gaps/cracks up to 3mm size with mineral filler as per manufacturer’s instructions. (d) Application of PME shall be done by flooding and wiping in both first coat and second coat with the help of wiper or as directed by the manufacturer. (e) Application of PME shall be done under the supervision of manufacturer's technical experts and employ sufficient skilled labour. Note :B: Conducting of following tests over Flexible portion of Runway surfaces before and after application of PME by Govt approved lab / by the technical experts of PME manufacturer as directed by GE : (c) Skid resistance test (Dry and Wet condition) in every 5000 sqm area Note C: List of Tools & Plants for above subject work: (a) Air Pressure dust cleaning machine- 02 Nos. (b) Tractor Mounted Spray boom pump- 02 Nos. (c) Lights for working during night with Generator (d) Masking tape & covering paper for lights & centre line painting. (e) minimum 28 labours to deploy for work at a time. Note D: The contractor should have sufficient experience in carring out similar nature of work.

M&L for complete removal of existing thermoplastic / water base paint layer (any number of layers) over concrete, black bituminous pavements surfaces by mechanial means including removal & cleaning etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for scraping & preparation of new/old treated horizontal concrete or bituminous roads, pavements surfaces exceeding 10 cm width or girth with wire brushes etc and painting lines, dashes, strips, circles and other markings with two coat of water thinable/matt finished road marking retro reflective paint over a coat of primer white/orange/yellow/black or any other colour as approved by GE using mechanical pavement marking machine (Air/Airless spray applications as per IS 164) line lazer 5900 of M/s Graco or equivalent as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Make: Apcotrack manufactured by Asian paints/ Berger/Nerolac (1st quality) or equivalent make as specified as approved by GE. Note:- Thickness of paint shall be minimum 40 micron (Dry film thickness) for each coat after application. Specification of the machine is as under:- Graco line lazer 5900/7900 with 2 guns and the maximum GPM(LPM) : 1.60 (6.0), PSI (Bar) : 3300 (227), Engine cc (HP) : 160 (5.5) and maximum tip size : 0.043 or Graco line lazer 200 HS with 2 guns and the maximum GPM(LPM) : 2.15 (8.14), PSI (Bar) : 3300 (227), Engine CC (HP) : 200 (6.5) and maximum tip size : 0.047.
