CLEANING/ REPAIR OF SEWAGE LINES AND DRAINS IN AREA A-1 AND A-2 OF AGE B/R-I UNDER GE (WEST) JALANDHAR CANTT

Taking out liquid/ solid content sludge etc from sump, septic tank, manhole and soak well either manually or by pumping cleaning thoroughly including disposal of liquid/ solid content outside Defence area and covered with layer of earth complete all as specified. (Note:- Bamboos will be used for prodding/desludging purpose stirctly , else pumping machine if necessary and not through any other means ) complete all as specified and directed.

Sewage cleaning by opening cover of manhole/ gully trap, floor trap/ WHB/ WC upto 1st manhole of any type and any mouth depth removing the sludge/ solid content from the manholes/ gully trap by manual/ mechanical method and cleaning the sewage line upto 1st manhole any dia and depth either by water pressure, flushing with water or rodding and other suitable means at the discretion of the contractor at his own arrangement so as to remove the blockages and making the sewer lines and manholes/ gully trap fully functional, removing the sludge/solid contents outside Defence land and re-positioning of the RCC/ CI cover slab grating all as directed in the following :- (a) RCC/SGSW pipe of dia 150mm (b) RCC/SGSW pipe of dia 250mm Note:Contractor shall deploy four safaiwala per day to carry out daily complaints and other works

Excavation in trenches in soft /loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundations etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n. exc. 10 sqm on plan and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft /loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.0m in depth for foundations etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n. exc. 10 sqm on plan and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 150mm bore salt glazed stone ware drain pipes (Grade-A) laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:1 and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 200mm bore salt glazed stone ware drain pipes (Grade-A) laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:1 and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 200mm bore reinforced concrete pipe, class NP2, laid and jointed with collars complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in concrete bed to 150mm bore drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in concrete bed to 200mm bore drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains by cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 and making good pipe and reforming benching as required finishing even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc. but excluding ashlars facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6m mean radius and built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, old size, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar (1:4) including flush pointing cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description including racking out joints hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick work (other than fair faces) including finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor and paving n. exc. 15cm thick (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete as in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing,chajjas and similar suspended work complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete nominal mix in (1:2:4) type B-1 ( using 20mm graded aggregate) in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of formwork to edges of concrete flats, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs n exc 20 cm wide and sides of RCC/ PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exc 10cm but n exc 20cm wide for flat and rough finished surfaces of concrete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) complete, for flat & rough finished surfaces of concrete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for precast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and set in cement mortar (1:4) as in landing, manholes cover slabs, chajjas, shelves, septic tanks, drain cover and similar articles with plain fair faces, including champers, weatherings, throating and all necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping,channel, benching of manhole, drain laid to shape and slope and surface finished even and smooth using extra cement including all necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling, mass concrete, sub floors, sub base etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Mild steel deformed bars 8mm dia, cut to length bent to shape required including bending , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping, benching/ haunching, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing steel fibre RCC manhole covers & frames medium duty circular (as per IS-12592) for clear opening 450mm to 500mm complete all as specified.

Material and labour for salt glazed stone were gully traps, square or round mouthed 150 x 150mm size type 'P' including cast iron cover grating and setting and jointing to drain pipe in cement mortar (1:1) complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of cast iron/ PVC pipe or reinforced concrete drain pipe 75/100 mm dia from floor/ walls etc and taking out of trenches/ floors complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement PVC (SWR) bends any radius of 110 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 100mm dia sand cast iron soil, waste and vent pipe in any length with or without ears, with cement joints, laid in trenches or fixed to walls etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 75mm dia sand cast iron soil, waste and vent pipe in any length with or without ears, with cement joints, laid in trenches or fixed to walls etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing CI 100mm bore bend (any radius), diminishing pieces or tapers (larger bore measured) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing CI 75mm bore bend (any radius), diminishing pieces or tapers (larger bore measured) complete all as specified and directed.
