M& L for Servicing of DG Sets of capacity 250 KVA /320 KVA of make (Make : Greaves/ Kirloskar/ Cummins or any other make) by the authorised Engineer of respective manufacturer of DG Set continous operational condition including the following checkings all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge (Egnine oil and coolent reaquired for this job is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(i) Removing the existing engine oil, clean the oil sump and refilling with required quantity of new engine oil 20W40 & coolant upto top.

(ii) Checking of fan motor hub

(iii) Checking exhaust and inlet manifold belt and cap screw

(iv)Cleaning of radiator inside and out side thoroughly with solution (caustic soda) to the entire satisfaction of Eng-in-charge by removing and re-fixing in original position after cleaning.

(v) Checking and adjusting injector and valves, tappet and replace the gasket including cost of gasket.

(vi) Cleaning fuel inlet connections and screw,

(vii) Checking of vibration damper and rectified.

(viii) Servicing of turbocharger by checking, leakage tightening of mounting screws & nuts and replace oil.

(ix) Checking water temperature safety control

(x) Checking and correcting up impeller of water pump for excess play.

(xi) Servicing of governer and Changing of governor oil.

(xii) Checking and adjusting all fan belt.

(xiii) Any other check as per manufacturer`s instructions

M&L for Rewinding of armature of Dynamo/alternators 12V/24V volts with `F' class copper wire to match existing gauge including dismantling of old coil , cleaning thoroughly winding with super enameled copper wire of existing size and gauge,varnishing, drying etc and fixed with dynamo/alternator properly tesing and commissioning all as specified all and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F repair radiator hoses of size 40mm dia or as per existing dia and 60 cm length for any capacity of DG set including jublee clip, clamp nuts etc are properly fixed and connected.as directed to the satifaction of the Engr-in -Charge

S & F in replacement of flexible pressure pipe for lubricant size of 60 cm length for oil and fuel connection for complete suitable for 180/100/82.5 KVA/63 KVA Engineas directed to the satifaction of the Engr-in -Charge

Supply and filling Engine oil 20W/40f complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S& Fill distilled water packed in sealed gallan of 5 Ltrs complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and filling water coolant(diluted)in radiator (make volve line or equivalent) including removal of old water/coolant, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling and removing of water pump assembly of any capacity any type of DG Set complete from the engine,repair/overhauling the same by replacing tornout components like bearing,impeller,bushes, oil seal,water seal,gaskets etc. reassembling,refixing and testing complete as directed to the satifaction of the Engr-in -Charge

Repair/overhauling of self starter 12V/24V including replacement of worn out clutch assembly,bush,spring,plunger assembly, solenoid switch,carbon brushes,brush spring etc.as directed to the satifaction of the Engr-in -Charge for the 250 KVA DG Set

Repair/overhauling of self starter 12V/24V including replacement of worn out clutch assembly,bush,spring,plunger assembly, solenoid switch,carbon brushes,brush spring etc.as directed to the satifaction of the Engr-in -Charge for the 180/125 KVA DG Set complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repair/overhauling of self starter 12V/24V including replacement of worn out clutch assembly,bush,spring,plunger assembly, solenoid switch,carbon brushes,brush spring etc.as directed to the satifaction of the Engr-in -Charge for the 100 KVA to 63 KVA DG Set complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repair/overhauling of self starter 12V/24V including replacement of worn out clutch assembly,bush,spring,plunger assembly, solenoid switch,carbon brushes,brush spring etc.as directed to the satifaction of the Engr-in -Charge for the 20/25/40 KVA DG Set complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for replacement of totally damaged self starter 12V/24V complete assembly suitable for any capacity of DG Set complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repair/overhauling of dynamo including replacement carbon, brushes holder, spring, commutator /slipring assembly bearing, regulator etc. of any make, type and capacity.complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply in replacement of electrically operated fuel shut down valve assembly complete testing and commissioning as specified and directed by Engr.in-charge including dismantling and removal of old U/S valves of any capacity DG set.complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Servicing/repairs of AMF panel complete including cleaning resetting/adjustment of relays,calibration of time delay relays, checking and replcement of diods, if required ,resistors contactor etc. complete for any make/type and capacity of DG sets. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting and dismantling the alternator unit of 250 KVA DG Set from the base plate of the DG set and transporting to workshop for repair, dismantling the unit, further separating the armature from the startor carefully, cutting and taking out the burnt windings of the alternator carefully, cleaning the slots and , duly applying the insulation and assembling the stampings inserting in position in the startor including applying slot insulation and rewinding of the alternator startor winding with super enameled copper conductor of same gauge and same number of turns as that of existing one including replacement of carbon brushes tapping the windings and bringing out the coil conections for production of 3 phase 415 volt 50 HZ AC supply and preheating the windings and applying insulating varnish and drying the windings in oven and assembling the unit and transporting back to installation and fixing on base plate and coupling with the DG set and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and dismantling the alternator unit of 50/25 KVA DG Set from the base plate of the DG set and transporting to workshop for repair, dismantling the unit, further separating the armature from the startor carefully, cutting and taking out the burnt windings of the alternator carefully, cleaning the slots and , duly applying the insulation and assembling the stampings inserting in position in the startor including applying slot insulation and rewinding of the alternator startor winding with super enameled copper conductor of same gauge and same number of turns as that of existing one including replacement of carbon brushes tapping the windings and bringing out the coil conections for production of 3 phase 415 volt 50 HZ AC supply and preheating the windings and applying insulating varnish and drying the windings in oven and assembling the unit and transporting back to installation and fixing on base plate and coupling with the DG set and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and dismantling the alternator unit of 20/10 KVA DG Set from the base plate of the DG set and transporting to workshop for repair, dismantling the unit, further separating the armature from the startor carefully, cutting and taking out the burnt windings of the alternator carefully, cleaning the slots and , duly applying the insulation and assembling the stampings inserting in position in the startor including applying slot insulation and rewinding of the alternator startor winding with super enameled copper conductor of same gauge and same number of turns as that of existing one including replacement of carbon brushes tapping the windings and bringing out the coil conections for production of 3 phase 415 volt 50 HZ AC supply and preheating the windings and applying insulating varnish and drying the windings in oven and assembling the unit and transporting back to installation and fixing on base plate and coupling with the DG set and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply in replacement of diode assembly complete suitable to match the existing one of 250 KVA alternator excitor unit.

Supply in replacement of diode assembly complete suitable to match the existing one of 180/125/100KVA alternator excitor unit. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply in replacement of diode assembly complete suitable to match the existing one of 63/50/40/30 KVA alternator excitor unit. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply in replacement of diode assembly complete suitable to match the existing one of 12.5/20/25 KVA alternator excitor unit. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply in replacement of PVC insulated battery lead with 16 Sq.mm copper conductor cable of length 2 mtr with copper/brass clamps and lugs for fixing on battery terminals and self starter complete as specified and as directed.

Supply in replacement of rectifiers for alternators suitable for Gensets upto 40/63/82.5/100/110KVA capacity complete as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing carbon brushes suitable for alternators upto 250 KVA gensets. complete as specified and as directed.

Supply in replacement of RPM meter complete with cable and accessories at the last range 0 to 2500 complete as specified and as directed.

Supply in replacement of water temperature gauge complete with cable and accessories at the last range 0 to 150 degree centigrate complete as specified and as directed.

Supply in replacement of oil temp gauge as per existing site requirement complete as specified and as directed.

Supply in replacement of oil pressue gauge as per existing site requirement complete as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the defective Fuel Injector Assembly of any capacity from the existing foundation and engine including taking down all electrical connections transporting to approved authorised workshop, after setting up opening the complete, connector plate, gasket & complete overhauling re- assembling the Fuel Injector after transporting back to site re-installing carrying out alignment of complete DG set reconnecting up all electrical connections testing and commissioning complete the following capacity of DG set (Note:- (a) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive making good the distrubed surfaces (b) The DG set shall be tested for the satisfaction of Engr -in -charge to achive designed parameters.

Supply and fixing in replacement of AVR unit of 250 KVA to 100 KVA for matching the existing AVR unit, complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of AVR unit of 63 KVA to 40 KVA for matching the existing AVR unit, complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in charge.

M&L for servicing/ cleaning of MS diesel tank of DG set 180/160/100 KVA by draining out the diesel from tank, cleaning the tank with soap water/ suitable solution and painting the external surface with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour including repalcement of drain valve, outlet pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for servicing/ cleaning of MS diesel tank of DG set 62.5/40/50/25 KVA by draining out the diesel from tank, cleaning the tank with soap water/ suitable solution and painting the external surface with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour including repalcement of drain valve, outlet pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

(vi) Fixing the complete radiator assembly to its orignal position and testing complete

Note:- LT panel shall be mounted on brickwork in CM 1:4 not less than 60 cm above ground level with suitable foundation, rendering 15 mm in CM1:6 and two coates of cement base paint and the rates shall be inclusive in the quoted rate. (Minimum size: 1.5*2.5*4.5 in Feet )

M&L for earthing complete for bldg with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected to galvanized earth wire 4.00 mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, chuck nuts, washers of GI or steel, PCC (concrete chamber of size 300 mm x 300 mm x 300 mm inside dimension) shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with fair finish , internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, funnel with wire mesh of 22 gauge, 80 mm thick PCC pit cover 320 mm x 320 mm of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM, JALLI pit shall be filled with charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) as specified including provision of 15mm dia medium grade GI pipe for earth wire protection and 20 mm dia for watering complete , all excavation and earth work & connecting the earthing to an earthing test point / main switch board as specified and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.
