Comprehensive Maintenance of DG Set of Existing Make Cummins/Kirloskar and Capacity 160 KVA at Kanya Pump House, consisting daily, monthly, half yearly and yearly Periodical Routine Maintenance/Checks as per OEM Recommendation, minor repairs and testing of DG set, including under mentioned works complete :- (a) Examining suction and Exhaust Valves and Cleaning if necessary for smooth operation (b) Examining and cleaning fuel injection, nozzles (c) Checking clearance of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required (d) Changing of Oil filters, Fuel filters, Screen filters assy as and when required (e) Cleaning Alternator winding in position by forced air and internal surfaces, lubricating DE & NDE bearings as and when required (f) Test IR value of alternator winding and recording the readings (g) Tightening and securing of all nuts and bolts (h) Greasing wherever is required (j) Checking of any leakage of fuel & Oil lines (k) Cleaning of fuel tank when time is due (l) Checking and servicing of Turbo Charger as and when required. (c) Operating Chlorination/Ionization Plants as directed (d) Maintaining Log Book for Swimming Pool (e) Maintaining record of timing of Swimming Pool operation (f) Operating Sluice/Gate Valves located within 1 KM from the Swimming Pool for Supply of water to pool as per the time schedule/requirement. (g) Routine maintenance & cleaning/back washing of filteration plant. ( 02 persons x 02 shifts x 11 months = 44)

(h) Carrying out necessary measure to achieve quality of swimming pool water as per para 3.1.1 of IS-3228 (1993) such as separating dirt/ dust /suspended particles from water and chlorination of water etc. (Note : Disinfectant chemicals and other consumable chemicals required for Operation and maintenace of Swimming Pool will be measured and paid separately under relevent item of the schedule) A. Notes for item No 23.00 to 25.00: (i) Passes will be processed alongwith (after verification on signed certificate, Pass shall not be granted without submission of qualification proof & experience certificate of FGM and valve man. (ii) Contractor shall submit ID proof, Residential proof, Bank A/C details to department and obtain approval of Engineer-in-Charge before employing a person as Operator. (iii) Contractor shall submit the labour licence VAT & copy of GST regn registered number issued by concerned authority. (iv) Working hours of a particular team of workers shall not exceed 08 hrs per day and no workmen shall be allowed to work beyond 08 hrs per day. (v)Duty roster of manpower deployed shall be displayed otherwise recovery of Rs 500/- per day shall be made. (vi)Surprise check will be carried out by department representative and if any employes is not available at his working place, he will be treated as absent and recovery shall be made @ Rs 100/- per hour per person. (vii)Payment as per quoted rate shall also be deducted in addition to the penalty as specified above. (viii) Payment to employees shall be done by crossed cheque through Aadhaar linked bank account only and it shall not be less than minimum fair wages as per act in vogue. The contractor shall submit proof to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming any payment. (ix) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included provision of all latest labour laws/ regulations including all relevant taxes as applicable. (x) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of life insurance for the tradesmen employed by him in case of untoward incident such as injuries fracture or casualty while on duty. (xi) Contractor shall quote not less than SMFW rates.

Note :- (xii) Plant operator shall be available as per the shift timings specified in the tender and he will report to JE E/M in-Charge In case of emergency he will function according to their direction. If he is found absent or move without intimating to in-Charge or JE E/M he will be treated as absent for the said shift and recovery of Rs 1500/- per shift shall be affected. (xiii) The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority.If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost given in SCH A Note on Page No 14 the lowest bidder will have to depost FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days of opening of financial bid (cover No 2). (xiv) The deposited amount shall be the difference between estimated cost given at SCH A Note on Page No 14 and amount quoted by lowest bidder for respective item. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work. If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to employees, the department shall have right to with hold the said amount which will beverified by GE. The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amont to be withheld shall be final and binding. The withheld amount will be utilised by GE for payment to employees if contractor fails to pay minimum wages and balance amount if any shall only be released. If the lowest bidder fails to deposit the amount as stated above within 07 days, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & his bid shall be rejected. The contractor shall submit 03 Nos of BGNs/FDRs of equal amount as mentioned above. The BGBs/FDRs validity shall be 04 months, 08 month & 12 months respectively for the purpose of encashment release as the case may be. (xv) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of suitable reliver wherever sundays & holidays are mentioned for working.
