REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF OLD DISTRIBUTION GI PIPE USING PPR PIPES IN EAST AND WEST AREA POCKET UNDER GE (WEST) MATHURA

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, main holes, pier holes etc complete in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials not exc 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L construction of brick masonry valve pit / chamber of size 600mm x 600mm x 600mm (internal dimensions of chamber) using 50% new bricks built in one brick thick wall in cement mortar 1:4) including top of MS cover with MS sheet cover 3mm thick including frame of angle iron 40 x 40 x 6mm with locking arrangement, lifting handle and 02 Nos 100mm size MS butt hinges including painting two coats of black synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, 15mm thick plastering in cement mortar (1:4) (internally on all brick wall and external upto 15cm below ground level) and necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning, filling in, disposal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr, 15 cm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 in foundation projected by 15cm all round from the outer face of brick wall, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) 40mm thick in coping including dismantling of old unserviceable valve pit chambe complete all as specified and directed.

Rectification of leakage / blockage / any defects noticed in CI / DI / GI / PPR / uPVC pipe of dia 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 40mm, 50mm, 65mm including detecting and locating leakage/blockage by replacing pipe upto required length as directed including excavation of earthwork in all kinds of soil for exposing leak portion of the pipe only including road/concrete cutting, removing and stacking the damaged portion from the existing line without causing any damages to the remaining portion and specials and covering and replacing with pipes of suitable size and jointing by supplying threaded PPR coupler and PPR union of dia upto 63mm including threading, alignment, laying and jointing to make the water tight joint, Cont/-

Cont/- testing the line to the required pressure upto service tank located at Md/OTM Accn refilling the trenches in layers not exceeding 15cm depth including consolidating each layers by ramming , watering, removing the surplus soil from the working site without causing any damages to any other utility services including hiring charges for conveyance of tools, plant, pump and any materials required at site, bailing out of water, bamboo ladder in case of multi-story building, lighting arrangement in night hours, ribbon fencing, caution boards traffic diversion complete all as spcified and directed. Cont/- Note: (i) Pipe length of PPR/UPC any size required for rectification of any defects will be measured and paid seperately under repective items. (ii) PCC work required at site to make good the broken damaged hard standing surface will be measured and paid seperately under repective items. (iii) PPR/UPVC fittings of dia 20mm and above required at site for rectification of any defects in PPR/UPVC pipe will be measured and paid seperately under repective items. (iv) Excavation & earth work required for detection of blockage except leakage willl be measured and paid seperately under repective items. Cont/-

Cont/- (vi) Contractor shall deploye at least 4 plumber (skilled tradesman) to attend daily complaints for rectification. Workmans shall report compaint cell of AGE E/M (Water Supply) daily at 8.30 AM to collect complaint and complete the complaint/rectification work by 5.30 PM. A penalty of Rs. 800/- per day- per complaint for not attending (absentee) shall be imposed and same shall be deducted / recovered from contractors dues/RARs. (vii) No extra payment of attendng complaints shall be admissibe to contractor. The rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to be included all above provisions.
