Excavation in trenches for foundations, laying / taking out of cables, erecting of poles etc, in any type of soil, not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in width and getting out, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in soils, in trenches including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soils to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 metre above the starting point.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1 with peak, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L sand cushioning for under ground cable, one layer of 8 cm thickness before laying the cable and other layer of 15 cm thickness after laying the cable, punned down to 18 cm thickness all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Thickness after punned down shall be considered for payment.

M&L Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate for foundations, mass and for repairing to paths/ road & hardstanding etc. including necessary cutting of roads/ paths for passing of pipes and making good the disturbed portion complete all as specified and directed by Engineer – in - Charge.

Supply and laying as in replacement 150 mm bore tube "light grade" galvanised iron pipe laid in trenches or fixed along poles with mild steel clamps or protection to GI earth strip/cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Supply and laying as in replacement 80 mm bore tube "light grade" galvanised iron pipe laid in trenches or fixed along poles with mild steel clamps or protection to GI earth strip/cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Servicing of DG Set 100 to 180 KVA capacity of Make:- Kirloskar/ Cummins/ Crompton Greaves/ Sudhir, taking down worn out replaceable parts such as fuel filters (Primary and secondary) , by pass filters, lube oil filters, air cleaner filters, water separators filters, lube oil flexible pipe, hose pipes, clamps etc and replacing the same with same size, make and capacity of parts, and including testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Spare parts such as fuel filters/Water Separator Filter (Primary and secondary), by pass filters, lube oil filters, air cleaner element set filters shall be measured and paid for saperately under respective items here in after.

Repair/ replacement of (AVR) automatic voltage regulator Diode forward and reverse rotating rectifier assembly, half wave phase controlled thyristor type, complete all as per existing type & size for DG set of capacity 100 to 180 kVA, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting and taking down the leaking radiator from DG set engine and transporation to civil workshop for repairs, cleaning the complete radiator for detecting the leakage and repairing the leaking portion (Tubes/fins/tank etc) by soldering/brazing, cleaning of all water tubes with suitable cleansing agent & water pressure & removing the complete sludge and dust from inside the tank, replacing worn out hose pipes & clamps etc, shifting & refixing at original site and testing for proper working, for the DG set of capacity 100 to 180 KVA, com plete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 13 above but for DG set of capacity 750 to 1010 KVA .

M & L for opening the tappet covers of the engine of the DG set of capacity 100 to 180 KVA of any make and carrying out repair works such as checking and adjustment of tappet clearance, and cylinder heads by removing carbon deposits , checking general condition of the engine, checking and adjustment of operating parameters, checking and adjustment of fuel timings, checking and adjustment of fault warning system, checking & tightening of various fasteners and connections, refixing the tappet covers, incl replacing the worn out gaskets/nuts/bolts/washers etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 15 above but of the DG set of capacity 500 KVA.

All as per item No 15 above but of the DG set of capacity 750 to 1010 KVA.

Material and labour for overhauling of all injecter nozzles including all as per site requirment, washers etc and pressure setting as required and replacement of timing shaft with coupling for DG sets of 750 to 1010 KVA capacity, complete all as specified and directed. .

Disconnecting and taking down the fuel pump from the DG engine, transporting to civil workshop and repair & calibration of FIP of DG Set including replacement of plungers, washer manifold, injection nozzles etc all as required and testing after refixing on engine and setting the rated RPM, for DG set of capacity 750 to 1010 KVA, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 21 above but for DG sets 500 KVA .

M&L for draining out the engine oil from the sump, opening the sump cover, cleaning properly to remove old oil stucked to the surfaces, replacing the worn out gaskets/nuts/bolts/washers as required & refixing the sump cover, for 750 to 1010 KVA capacity DG set engine, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling distilled water in batteries for toppping up, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for draining out old coolant from the engine radiators of DG Sets of any capacity and make, flushing the radiator tubes with distilled water and filling with new coolant, refixing the drain plug properly and filling the complete radiator with new pre mixed coolant, complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing in repairs heavy duty copper cable of size 35 sqmm single core battery leads (Red and black ), complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs heavy duty brass terminals (as per approved sample) suitable for battery terminals complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cleaning the in-built diesel tanks of 750 to 1010 KVA capacity DG set by emptying the tank using suction pump of suitable capacity, washing the internal walls & bottom with diesel to remove any dust / deposits etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6mm surrounded by charcoal & salt buried directly in a pit of depth not less than 2.25m below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.50m below ground level, connected to and including GI strip 32 x 6mm upto 7.5m length by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of galvanized iron, earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe 15mm bore (medium grade) & connected to main control board including necessary excavation & earth work, disposal of surplus soil not exceeding 50m, in any type of soil. (The rate also includes for cost of charcoal & salt in alternate layers of 15 cm thickness, 20 mm bore GI pipe (medium grade) for watering, funnel, wiremesh, PCC chamber in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, CI cover & frame etc) complete all as indicated in electric plate No 3 of SSR 2009 Part I including testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note- (i) Earthing result/data sheet will be prepared by the Contractor and submitted to Engineer-in-charge. Earth resistance shall be to the entire satisfaction of engineer-in-charge and contractor will make all arrangements & provisions to get the desired reduction of resistance by artificial treatment/replacement of soil etc at no extra cost to department.

Disconnecting and taking down the defective self starter of any make from the DG set , dismantling the same to take out defective parts and repairing by replacement of carbon brushes, armature coil, field coil, bush, bearings and bendix pinion, clutch assembly and other related components, reassembling & shifting to original location, refixing on the DG set , making all connections and testing for smooth functioning complete all as directed for DG set of capacity 100 KVA to 180 KVA. Note :- Self starter of same type and capacity shall be arranged by the contractor and fixed at the DG set for the duration the original one is under repairs. Unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the expenditure for the same and no extra payment shall be made on this part.

Disconnecting and taking down the defective dynamo from the DG set engine for repairs, strip opening to remove unserviceable parts, repairing by replacing of armature coil, carbon brush, field coil, clutch patti bearing, refixing magnetic steel laminates, replacing pole head and pole shoe, bearing of shaft ball/roller/sleeve type and other related items, of assembly, re-assembling and refxing the same on original position and testing complete for 100 to 180 KVA DG set complete all as specified.

All as per item No 57 here-in-before but capacity 500-750 KVA.

Repair, Servicing and maintenance of ACB of existing make and 800-1250 amps capacity installed at Generator Room and CMDC including:- (i) Cleaning and assembling of front cover , push button , locking latches. (ii) Cleaning of terminal shield. (iii) Cleaning and assembling of chassis. (iv) Cleaning and tightening of every point of auxiliary and control unit connector block. (v) Cleaning, greasing and assembling of hand pull-out system, racking Mechanism of chassis and function position indicators. (vi) Cleaning, checking and assembling of arc chute. (vii) Physical inspection of main contact. (viii) Cleaning, checking/testing and assembling of tapping coil/ closing coil. (ix) Cleaning and greasing of mechanical charging system. (x) Cleaning, greasing and installation of jaw contacts. (xi) Repair of lower mechanism if found faulty. (xii) Final testing of the Air circuit breaker manually.
