Supply and laying or fixing or laid in trenches / ducts / through pipes / in floors / under roads / under hard standing /along poles and testing, Cross linked Polyethylene (XLPE) LT Cable, XLPE Insulated, PVC inner sheathed, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured cable (heavy duty) 1100 volt grade with stranded aluminium conductor, conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I)-1988 with upto date amendments, including taking out old unserviceable cable any size complete all as specified and as directed having cross sectional area :-. Note :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, brick protection, boring/cutting of road and pipe shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this Schedule.)

Junction box complete with fixing accessories having following specifications:- (i) Junction box should be insulated and made out of polycarbonate with glass fibre reinforced material. (ii) Size not less than 210x160x98 mm (iii) IP protection: IP 66 in accordance with IEC 60529. (iv) Internally embedded gasket of polyurethane (v) Junction box must meet the provision laid down in IEC 60998-1, IEC-60670-22, IEC-60670-2 to 5 and colour coding to RAL 9011 (vi) The manufacture of junction box shall submit a copy of IEC certificate to GE. (vii) Junction box shall be fire retardant and self extinguishing in accordance with IEC-60695-2 to 11, DIN VDE 0304 part-3, UL 94 V-2 flammability standard. It should be tested at Glove Wire Test for 960 Degree Centigrade (viii) The degree of protection of enclosure against mechanical load shall be in accordance with EN 50298 for IK08. (ix) Junction box shall have with single pole MCB ‘C’ curve of 1 Amp rating.
Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint, complete all as specified.

Three core cord flexible wire, copper conductor multistranded, PVC insulated and overall PVC sheathed of size 1.5 Sqmm 1100 Volt, drawn through LT steel tubular poles for connection to street light from junction box, complete all as specified.
Street light bracket made out of 40mm dia GI tubing light grade made to shape 1.2 Mtr long with fixing arrangement for LED fitting including MS clamps and back plates fabricated from steel section including nuts, bolts, washer duly painted with two coats of synthetic aluminium paint over a coat of primer, complete all as specified.

Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) Protection pipe and GI earthing wire upto test point or upto electric equipment from top of earth plate shall be included in the unit rate of this item. (iii) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
