4) The rate shall include dewatering work (pumping out and removing slush) during execution in underwater conditions, if required.

| 1.08 | Anti-termite treatment
Providing and injecting Chemical emulsion for PRE-CONSTRUCTIONAL anti-termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier on the top surface of the plinth filling, inside the junction of wall and floor, on top of damp proof course or on masonry at the level of plinth filling as per IS 6313 (Part-2)-2013 using a chemical like Imidacloprid 30.5% SC (CIB approved, BIS & CBRI certified). The proportion of dilution with water shall be as per manufacturer's specification. The emulsion shall be applied as mentioned below, all as per the specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge. A guarantee bond of 10 years shall be furnished in the prescribed proforma. The rate shall be inclusive of material required for Anti Termite Treatment, labour and equipment as required for application in any condition, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (The stage of treatment may vary as per site conditions and should be approved by the Engineer-in-charge before execution.)
a) Treatment of the soil below the raft or any type of foundation - before laying the PCC, the compact and leveled soil shall be treated at 5 liters per sqm. In case of soils/ sand filled above the raft, the treatment at 5 liters per sqm shall be carried out on the top surface of filled soil/sand.
b) Treatment of the soil along the retaining wall - The soil retained by the walls (soil in contact with the retaining wall) shall be treated at the rate of 7.5 liters per sqm of the vertical surface in full depth. lightweight AAC bats - filling in sunken slab
Providing and filling lightweight AAC bats (of size 40-60 mm) with cement mortar mixed in the ratio 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand: 6 block bats) including mixing of approved waterproofing compound in recommended proportion. The laid AAC bat mix shall be well-rammed, compacted, finishing and curing as required. Further, the surfaces shall be screeded with cement concrete mix 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand : 3 stone grit of size 6 mm and below by volume) admixed with approved integral waterproofing compound in recommended proportion, laid to an average thickness of 25mm and finished smooth or ready to receive finish material as specified. Care shall be taken prior to filling all pipes passing through the sunk portion such that the pipes are pressure tested by maintaining pressure for 24 hours. Junctions of pipes passing through walls, and slabs shall be well grouted and sealed.
This shall be tested by ponding water for the required depth and maintaining it for 72 hours. (Rate includes the cost of AAC bats, cement mortar, top screed, and labour charges for working at all levels, leads, and heights).
