Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters including fitting and fixtures area not exc 1.5 Sqm each (without taking off the wooden shutters from the frame) including cutting holes for hold fasts and making good disturbed surface with cement mortor or PCC after fixing new chowkats complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters including fitting and fixtures area exc 1.5 Sqm but not exc 4 Sqm each (without taking off the wooden shutters from the frame) including cutting holes for hold fasts and making good disturbed surface with cement mortor or PCC after fixing new chowkats complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down shutters of any description exc 1 Sqm and not exc. 2 Sqm each complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down existing steel rolling shutters of area not exc 10 Sqm with all connecting items and repair the lath, hood covers, ball bearings, helical wire spring, lock plates, bracket plates, shaft rods, guide channels of steel rolling shutters and locking arrangements, including greasing, tightening, oiling, welding etc. wherever required, complete to make in serviceable condition and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint including preparation of old painted surfaces and refixing in the same opening complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down steel rolling shutters of garrages / stores area exc 10 sqm but not exc 30 sqm each, straightening the frame, bent up steel sheet , refixing the MS steel shutter in the same opening by grouting pintel hinges in PCC 1:2:4 incl MS pingel round bar of dia 20mm, greasing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of excavated soil/ material to a distance exc 250 metre and not exc 500 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation sunken surfaces by cleaning of and removal of loose concrete and filling cracks with polymer modified mortar using Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or equivalent in Forsoc and other approved make and applying 2 coats of Dr. Fixit Bath seal WPC in suken areas and laying a protective plaster in 10mm thickness in cement mortar (1:3) admixed with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete LW + @ 220ML per bag of cement applying mix of cement water in the ratio 1:1:5 by volume using DR FIXIT PIDICRETE URP chemical on floor and vertical surface of sunken floor as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge Note :- Supply only liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for seprately under respective items of BOQ.

Supply only integral water proofing compound (ISI marked) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for PCC (1:5:10) type E-2 using 40 mm graded brick aggregate in, filling and mass concrete as in sunken portion complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F 35 mm thick factory made plain framed, panelled shutter (any number of panels) with lock rail and panel of 9mm thick BWP commercial ply or 12 mm thick veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rail and styles as per IS : 1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated using second class Hard Wood (Hollock or Bonsum) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F factory made solid PVC door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm thick one side prelaminated PVC sheet reinforced with MS square tube and edges painted to match the prelaminated sheet complete all as specified & shown in relevant drawing of item No. 08095 to 8097 in MES Schedule (Part-II) and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for machine cut Kota stone slab 18 to 20mm thick (minimum size 550mm x 100mm or size as directed), on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting, raiser of steps etc. laid over & including rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:4) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including cutting, grinding, rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cutting or grinding surfaces of old kota stone flooring, skirting, dados etc with car boredom stone by hand or grinding machine, dusting off the surfaces after grinding and finally washing the surface clean with oxalic acid solution and polishing with bees wax polish complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of mud phuska in roof any thickness including plastering & leeping (whether full thickness removed or only part thereof) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cleaning of all loose dirt and dust from roof and priming the surface with one coat of cold applied bituminious primer @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm conforming to IS:3384 and applying a layer of APP based polymeric membrane not less than 3 mm thick, weighing not less than 3.5 Kg/Sqm, reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (weighing not less than 150 gms/Sqm) and upper side of membrane thermally insulated with white gravel finish uniformaly embedded during manufacturing process. It shall be laid by torch application having side over lap 75 mm and at the end 100 mm, all overlaps and joints shall be sealed by torch application. For parapet, membrane shall be taken to a height of minimum 60 cm and inserted inside the parapet in a groove to a depth of 65mm. The same shall be furnished by a membrane flashing. Note : The net area of water proofing treatment shall be measured without any extra allowance for laps & portion inserted in groove which shall be deemed included in the quoted rates.

M&L for applying evenly one coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 @ 1.20 Kg per Sqm including cleaning of surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 40mm thick brick tiles laid on and joints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No. 60 here-in-above but except brick tiles. Note : Old serviceable brick tiles retrieved from serial item No 6 of BOQ here-in-before shall be used under this item.

M&L for 18-20mm thick Granite (of any type) slab of approved shade as in cooking platforms, steps, jambs, pillars, window cills and the like etc, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match with shade of Granite stone including cutting, grinding and polishing (mirror polish i.e. full granite polish as per local trade practice) over & including 15mm thick screed bed (bedding layer) in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : The exposed edges of granite stone slab shall be made full round & polished to mirror finish and rate quoted shall deemed to include this provision.

M&L for 50 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection, finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Plinth protection shall be laid to slope (1 in 30) in bays not exceeding 3 metre in length and joints of 6 mm wide and 10 mm deep shall be provided along the wall and bays and same shall be filled with sealing compound grade B. Cost of ceiling compund is included in the unit rate of this item

M&L for 40mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in flooring finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 10mm thick vitrified ceramic light shade (as approved) coloured tiles (square / rectangular), polished, area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm as on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 10mm thick rendering in cement & sand mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of new plastered and unplastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of oil bound distemper including chalk whitening preparatory to distempering complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from old plastered surfaces like lime, distemper, plastic paint, cement base paint including scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorscent salts, trading oil, greasy spots using mechanical grinding machine and washing of old surface with water of wall, preparation of surfaces and applying two coats of oil bound distemper (OBD) over a coat of appropirate primer over and including 3mm thick layer of wall putty (Make J K or Birla) complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment on wall like lime, distemper, cement base paint etc including scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss efflorescent salts, trading oil, greasy spots using mechanical grinding machine and washing of old surface with water preparation of surfaces and applying two coat of exterior emulsion paint over a coat of exterior primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Asian Paints (Brand - ACE) / Berger Paint (Brand - Shingar) / Nerolac Paint (Brand - Total) or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'A' here-in-after. Note :- After complete removal of existing treatment surfaces shall be inspected by the Engineer-in-Charge and further each coat of exterior paint and primer shall be applied only after passed by Engineer-in-Charge.
