Extraction of silt, old sand from the filter bed within all leads and lifts disposing of all surplus extracted silt sand and sludge within all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge including dewatering etc complete sand, stone aggregate and broken stone to be stacked properly for placing again in the filter bed as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Extraction of the precast cement concrete Chakas in complete in all respect

Cleaning of walls and surface of filter media with manual labour and jet spray pump complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge

Removing white wash or colour wash by steel wire brushing and /or scrapping sand papering and pareparing the wall surface smooth inlcuding necessary repair to scratches complete in all leads and lifts.

Finishing wall with water proofing cement paint of approved brand and manufacture and of required shade on decorated wall surfaces (one coat) to give an even shade after thoroughly brushing thesurface to remove all dirt,loose or softened paint.

Disposal of material excavated unserviceable material from site of work to dumping site at Nallah complete in all respect

Relaying of the precast cement concrete chakas complete in all respect

Providing and placing of horizontal layer of filter media duly graded secreened washed and cleaned as specified by Engineer-in-charge.

Bottem layer Broken stone 50mm to 75mm.

Fourth layer of stone aggregate 20mm to 25mm
