Disconnecting HT/LT connection of transformer and opening up the top cover of transformer of capacity 100 KVA to 650 KVA for checking the conditions to carryout repairs at site, including draining out oil from the transformer in suitable container (containers to be provided by the contractor) and repair to the transformer with replacement of parts (as required), checking the lead connection from winding to bus rods including necessary soldering/jointing etc and after complete repair refilling the dehydrated oil, replacing perished gasket with new gasket of same size and testing on full load after connecting the HT/LT connections complete all as directed by GE/AGE Notes :(i) Labour component required for the repalcement of unserviceable parts shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item (ii) Major parts as under shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ (iii) Dehydration/ filtration of transformer oil shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this BOQ’ (iv) T&P and minor parts will be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item (v) Rate deemed to be inclusive of securing the cables on HT/ LT side for tension free at cable entry box.

Supply only breather including of silica gel as per existing specification in sealed bag for transformer up to 650 KVA capacity complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted steel or iron surfaces of transformer of any capacity by scrapping with steel wire brush/scrapper emery paper, etc. and applying two coats of synthetic enamel smoke grey paint over a coat of red oxide primer (painting shall be done by spray machine) including writing of SM No, MES No etc. at prominent place/location of transformer capacity 100KVA to 630KVA with black synthetic enamel thick paint in white back ground complete all as specified and directed

Supply only transformer oil ISI marked in sealed containers for transformers oil, confirming to IS-335 with dielectric strength of not less than 40 KV and testing for strength including recording results complete all as specified. Note:- (i) Purchase vouchers alongwith manufacturer's test certificate shall be produced to GE. (ii) Nos of sealed containers shall be recorde in MB Make:- CASTROL/IOCL(SERVO)/HP

Material, Labour in repair of earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the normal ground level, connected with and including galvanized earth strip of size 32 x 6mm thick connected to main test point as directed as earthing lead by means of nuts, bolts, washers of galvanized iron protected by 40mm dia (light grade) GI tubing, funnel, wire mesh, 20mm bore GI tubing (medium grade) watering pipe including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, precast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab of size 350 x 350 x 50mm reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @15 cm c/c in both ways and 10mm dia MS handle (01 No) of suitable size for lifting of cover slab, charcoal and salt in alternative layers including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/ loose soil all as shown in Electric Plate No. 3 of SSR Part - I and testing on complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The unit rate shall include for GI water pipe, protection pipe, wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, PCC, test point, earth srip from top of earth plate upto 7.5 metre ground level (ii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 1.5 mtr away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fixing junction, elbows etc. shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate.

Supply and fixing of drop out expulsion fuse assembly single pole 25 to 50 Amp capacity, 11000 Volts grade after taking out old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for taking out of burnt primary / secondary copper windings of HT 11 KV transformer and cleaning all the limbs, replacing with the same with fine enamelled bare copper conductor as per relevant BIS of same gauge size, turns and weight and keeping the same into the hot air oven till the moisture evoporates for working complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rates quoted deemed to be inclusive of all Misc items such as cotton tape, warnishing, impregnated paper etc.

Material & Labour for off load tap changer switch suitable for transformer capacity 100 to 650 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Repair and overhauling of 11 / 6.6 KV any capacity VCBs of Receiving/Distribution System with dusting/cleaning by smooth brushing or dry cotton and lubricating of movable mechanism suitably with oil/grease and replacement of unserviceable/burnt out/worn out spare parts with new one as per existing make, duly commissioned in the VCBs at 11 / 6.6 KV Bulk Receiving Centre including necessary inspection, reassembling , testing , re-commissioning, etc complete for smooth functioning of the equipments to ensure desired result including taking down/dismantling of existing unserviceable spares parts of VCB/Capacitor Banks all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) Major parts as under shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ (iii) T&P and minor parts will be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (iv) Repair, overhauling & testing of VCB shall be carried out by authorized competent persons of OEMs or their accredited / authorised agancies and contractor shall be submitted supporting document of authorized representative of existing VCB to GE, the service charge of OEM shall deem to be included in above quoted rate.
