Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 sqm, exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100mm deep, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Scarifying include racking over and grading the broken up surface to the proper camber etc. as required.

M&L laying and compacting 75mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber and including for preparing of surfaces of unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note : The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013.

M&L applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70 - 1.0 kg/sqm on surface of WMM / WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH Specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L premixed bituminous macadam over primed surface of road using paving bitumen VG-30, laid/rolled by 8 to 12 tonne capacity roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), binder contents of premixed macadam shall be 4% by weight of total mix (Design Mix), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying 25mm thick mastic asphalt consisting of an intimate homogeneous mixture of mineral filler, well graded fine and coarse aggregate industrial grade 85/25 bitumen as per IS : 73 of 2006 cooked at 170 degree to 200 degree centigrade laid hot trowelled and floated by means of wooden float laid over tack coat of VG-10 grade bitumen conforming to IS : 73 @ 0.3 - 0.4 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH Specification for Road & Bridge Works 2013 using mechanical sprayer over prepared base, bitumen mastic after spreading and while still hot in plastic condition shall spread over with bituminous precoated fine aggregate of size 20mm @ 0.005 Cum per 10 Sqm mixed with 0.17 Kg per 10 Sqm of bitumen grade VG-40 for anti skidding including all material, labour, tools and plants all as specified and directed as per Design mix IRC 107-2013, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying and testing of Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars 600 mm bore, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Rates shall be quoted includes for all necessary extra joints, waste and cutting etc. (ii) Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate bed to drain pipes including forming cradels and packing under haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 600 mm bore NP2 pipes, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rates shall be quoted includes for any necessary shuttering and supports to concrete and for laying bed to falls.

M&L for laying and testing of reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, 300 mm bore laid and jointed in trenches or in floors complete with collar, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Rates shall be quoted includes for all necessary extra joints, waste and cutting etc. (ii) Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

M&L PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for pipes of 300 mm bore, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar (1:3) (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas n.exc 1.5m depth and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rates shall be quoted includes for dressing/trimming sides and levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms of excavation.

M&L 300 mm thick Kankar or laterite, with mix of fly ash, clinker & stone dust in the proportion of 1:3:6 (i.e. 10% of fly ash, 30% of clinker & 60% of stone dust) laying in layers n.exc 10cm thick in each layer, watering, ramming and compacted with vibratory / power roller 8 to 12 tonne roller to get Min CBR value 8% and Dry density 97% placed at required and gradient, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Soling with 150 mm thick spread thickness (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone of size as per MoRTH specifications, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with power roller of capacity exc 8 tonne n.exc 12 tonne, complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting and compacted with vibratory / power roller 8 to 12 tonne roller to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm with broken stone or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base floor / pavings and finishing cement concrete surface even and fair, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sand filling under floors or in foundation including watering and consolidation, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L two coats of UV resistant acrylic lacquer coating Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 Grade with grey cement and pigment, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Interlocking paver block shall be tested from Govt. approved lab before incorporating in the work.

S&F 75 mm PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rate shall be quoted includes for all necessary extra joints, cutting and waste.

M&L Brickwork with fly ash old sized bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in Cement Mortar 1:4 including demolition of brick work, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of wall, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain Cement concrete type C1 (1:3:6) (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs not provided for in Item 04028, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain Cement concrete type C1 (1:3:6) (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in surface channels and drains for benching, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L reinforced cement concrete (Design Mix) M-25 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like including demolition of RCC work, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
