Excavaiton in trenches not exc 1.5 meters wide and not exc 1.5 meters deep dor pipe line in soft/loose soil, getting out and levelling of bottom surfac e to required level complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material from site to a distance not exceeding 50 meters away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Boring holes under road pavment by bocky or manually in any type of soil upto 150mm bore of required depth as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed. (Note:-Location & depth of boring from GL shall be as directed by EIC.)

Taking down old unserviceable GI/CI/Cement pipe, joints, bends, elbow, tees, rubber joints upto 100mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable GI/CI/Cement pipe, joints, bends, elbow, tees, rubber joints exc 100 mm dia but upto 200mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable GI/CI/Cement pipe, joints, bends, elbow, tees, rubber joints exc 150 mm dia but upto 250mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

(Note for ser item No 1.05 to 1.07 :- (i) Old U/s GI/CI/Cement Pipe including fittings obtained from demolition shall be taken on charge in demolition/salvage register and enter page number in demolition statement. Necessary RV in (RM) shall be taken into account and attach with RAR/F Bill. (ii) Old 'lead' quantity obatined from boring of CI Joints, after demolition of CI Pipe shall be taken on charge.)

M&L for excavation in any type of soil through trenchless technology by HDD (Horizontal directional drilling method) including preparing and setting up the plant and equipment. Preparing new pipe work material including all related civil work and mechanical work like excavation, shoring/strutting etc drilling, stringing, reaming and pulling back the new HDPE and MS pipe work on the path alignment proper disposal of drilling fluid and ground penetrating radar survey to protect any exiting utilities at the pipe installation location restoration of site after completion all inclusive as per and STT IS No 2.3.2.2.2.2. second edition 2008 code of practice for trenchless technology suiting Indian condition for making horizontal bore of size upto 350mm dia suitable for HDPE pipe insertion under road crossing /hard standing and including provision of M&L HDPE pipe, Jointing and Jointing Material complete of size 250 mm nominal dia of grade PE 80 for protection of MS pipe to any depth by manually or any means complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (a) M S Pipe will be measured and paid seperately. (b) Permission required from civil authority / department prior to excution of the work which is the contractor's responsibility and the cost for the same shall be deemed included under quoted unit rates of the item. (c) Cost of 250mm dia HDPE pipe of PE 80 quality shall be deemed included in quoted unit rate.
