M&L for maintenance and servicing of DG sets (monthly Inspection), of the following capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (A check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as directed as specified for the following DG sets :- (a) 380 KVA Capacity-01 Nos (b) 250 KVA Capacity - 01 No (c) 125 KVA Capacity - 01 No (d) 100 KVA Capacity - 06 No (e) 62.5 KVA Capacity - 03No (f) 45 KVA Capacity - 02 No (g) 40 KVA Capacity - 02 No (h) 30 KVA Capacity - 02 No (j) 25KVA capacity:-02 No (k) 20KVA Capacity:-01 NO

(i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note (i) Oil shall be measures and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately (iii)Checking of air filter element (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring. (xi) Checking of all radiator rubber hose and replacement if required. (xii) Checking and recording oil pressure, water and oil temperarute (xiii) Checking anti vibration mounting and replacement if required. Note : Anti vibration pad shall be measured and paid separately (xiv) Checking throttle linkage (xv) Checking battery for cell test, electrolyte level, gravity and topping up to required level (xvi) Routine check / repair work of panel, switch, MCCB, main switch, all contactors, engine control unit. (xvii) Checking of AMF panel, all electrical connections etc. (xviii) Checking of earthing resistance (xix) Cleaning of vegitation around the DG set up to 1.5 mtr area. (xx) Contractor shall employ skilled labour (FGM) for the above repairs and one company engineer/ technician for over all repairs once every in month.

M&L required for Inspection, maintenance and servicing of DG Sets of following Capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (B - Check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance complete all as directed and specified. Note: (i) B-Check once in six month OR 250 Hrs running of DG set whichever is earlier. NOTES : (i) Repeat the activities of A Check replacement of lubricating oil. Demolition of old broken earth pit chamber and Renewing the earthing chamber pit of size 450X450X300mm ( external) & 250X250X250mm ( Internal) with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1by using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and 40 mm thick RCC precast cover slab of 1:2:4 type B-1by using 20mm graded stone aggregat,e reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 100 mm C/C on both sides complete all as pecified and as directed .

Recharging of earthing pit using kalmi sora ,charcoal,salt,magnesium phasphat,water and using other chemical for obtaining the earth resistance within permissible limit and testing of earthing resistance by megger after disconnecting earth continuity conductor from test terminal block/panel, recording the results in triplicate duly signed by contractor & MES representative and connecting earth continuity conductor complete all as specified and as directed . Note :- Earth meggers shall be arranged by contractor under his own arrangements

M&L for painting of earthing pit cover with two coats of black bituminious paint and making pit No. with synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and as directed .

Dismantling the radiator and fan from the engine for cleaning of copper tubes and cooling fins by using descaling solution and soldering, patch work including repair of water pump assembly and replacement of defective parts of water pump and re-assembliying,testing complete upto 125 KVA DG set complete all as specified and as directed .

Repairs to alternator of DG set up to125 KVA for the following :- (a) Disconnecting all electrical cable connections of alternator and DG set coupling complete (b) Dismantling of alternator for rewinding including burn out winding field winding coils and cleaning slots (c) Rewiring of armature and field coil with super enamelled copper winding wire insulated complete with suitable size of wire (d) Replacement of unserviceable alternator bearing (e) Cleaning of commutator and replace brush set complete including service of brush holders (f) Re- assembling of alternator complete after the repair / re winding and servicing of alternator , general cleaning and greasing of bearing and making good by provision of proper alignment and electric connections including testing complete all as specified and as directed .

Servicing of AMF Panel of DG set and cleaning of dust by using blower & cleaning agents,checking / Detecting faults , Removing Faults, Re-wiring of old unserviceable wiring & testing of control wiring including. replacement of un-serviceable parts of AMF Panel all as requirement and testing on completion of job on existing load complete all as specified and as directed . Maintenance of existing APFC panel with cleaning of dust inside by blower and cleaning of moving parts / contacts from CT cleaner, tightening of loose parts/ electrical wires, cleaning of contactors, relays and capacitors, junction point,servicing, oiling to cooling fan including testing of APFC relay with necessary setting with CTs / load adjustments to match with the APFC load management system complete with replacement of worn out unserviceable components / burnt wires/ timbles/ lugs of capacity 10 KVAR to 60 KVAR complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (i) There are 17 Nos of APFC panel installed at different locations in Mil stn jassai and all the panels are to be maintained for the complete contract period . (ii) The power factor (PF) for all the 17 Nos APFC panel should be in between 0.95 to 0.99 , in case the PF is less than the power factor maintain above due to any reason, then the contractor shall liable to pay compenssation equivalent to JVVNL tarrif . (iii) The spare parts shall be of same make and capacity of existing one and shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Replacement of bolt / nut / screws etc. shall deemed to be included in ther rate quoted.
