M&L for removing of Apparent visible efflorescence to be first cleaned using hard wire bush and all crystal deposits and the brick shall then be cleaned using soft brush or powdry crystals removed then make a 1 to 4 solution of vinegar and water ( 1 part of vinegar to 4 parts water) and apply it to the efflorescence affected area using a nylon brush. Further allowing the vinega/ water solution to sit on the surface of the affected area for approx 15 minutes, making sure that the solution is not dried, rinsing the solution applied with clean water using low pressure jet. Two cycle of cleaning using vinegar water solutions to be repeated as described above.

M&L for pointing the joints of brick wall cleaned and treated in item No. above using cement putty made at site using latex/SBR polymer diluted at ratio 1:4 with water. The solution so made shall be used to be mixed with cement to make a putty consistency paste. The cement putty shall be then worked out in the joints which are clean and in SSD condition. Make : Sika/BASF/STP.

M&L for cleaning the bricks so pointed of all dust or deposit using brush. A un diluted single component acrylic polymer to be used to price the brick surface. The primer while being tacky the first coat of water proofing coating is done, second coat is applied after a time interval of 4 to 6 hrs after the first coat has dried. The water proofing coating shall be two component polymer modifed cementatious coating having a thickness of 1.5mm in two coats. The material to be factory batched and ready to use. The two components shall be mixed using low speed drill having a RPM 350 to 450 and fitted with a paddle. The mixing to be done for 3 to 4 minute to give a brushable consistency mi. The coating shall be done using 100 to 150mm wide brush. It is to be take care that the material while being used a agitated every 3 to 5 min to avoid powder parts getting settled. After application of second coat and while the material is still wet, coarse sand is sprinkled over the coating so as to ensure proper emechanical key is provided for subsequent plaster. Make : Sika/BASF/STP.The water proofing coating shall have properties as below:- Tensile Str must be 4.56 N/mm2 after 14 days of explsure and bond strength must be of 2 N/mm2 at +27 C (failure in substrate).

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) including tiles of any description & terrazo finish, etc. n. exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level)incl rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 50mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40mm graded agg) as in plinth protection complete all as specified & directed.
