WORK OF EARTHING OF TOWERS OF 132 KV NEHTAUR (220 KV)-TAJPUR LINE, UNDER ETD BIJNOR.
Digging the pit of size 35 mm. dia & 3.60 Meter deep in earth, placing galvanized steel pipe of size 30 mm. diameter & 3.05 mtr. Long in pit, filling the pit with salt & coke (Approx. wt. 15 Kg). Laying of galvanized steel flat of size 50x6 mm., 4.750 Mtr. long. at least 600 mm. below ground level, fixing and tightening of strip with earthing electrodes at one end tower structures bottom most barcing on other end with GI nuts and bolts. Chamfering of the nut & bolts to avoid convionent opering & theft. (Note- All required material (Galvanized steel pipe & Earthing strip, coke, salt & nut, botls etc.), Labour and T&P shall be arranged by the contractor.
