Amount

Excavating in trenches, in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying cable, pole foundation etc complete all as specified.

All as per item No 01 above but depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.0m

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerbs or pole coping of size 300x300 mm ,chamfered on edges including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete.

M&L for sand cushioning with fine dry unwashed sand in trenches for protection of cables complete. Note :- Thickness shall be measured after punning

M&L for old size sub class ‘B’ bricks, laid in trenches as cable covers complete.

M&L for repairing the existing junction box/ control box of street light by disconnecting all connection and reconnect the same after repairing including dusting, proper insulation with LT tape, replacement of lugs, nuts , bolts washer etc as requried including provision of 01 No of MCB 06 Amps and making the junction box funcationable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

M&L for repairing existing street light feeder over head conductors by disconnecting electric supply through proper shut down of street light feeders from sub station, to remove oxidise part at the point of connection to street light from LT over head line and reconnect the same to LT over head line after removing the oxidise part and make functionable all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge . Note:- Highly skilled Electrician with skilled helper and necessary tools and sfety equipment shall be provided by the contractor.

M&L for checking of street light feeder over head conductors /under ground cables using necessary tools, equipments and safty devices by disconnecting electric supply through proper shut down and repairing/attending faults of street light feeders from sub station by tightning of loose jumpers, trimming of tree branches on a particular span, re-tightning of binding wires on insulators, re-tightning of cable lugs etc all as required at site and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (a) Highly skilled Electrician with skilled helped and necessary tools and sfety equipment shall be provided by the contractor. (b) ACSR conductor, insulator, cables and earthwork as required for repairing / rectification of faults shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

M&L for repairing street / security light of any type and flood lights / post top lanterns or any other external lights in its position fixed pole / building structure or by taking down to ground, if required and testing all the components / parts, wiring etc, identifying and replacing the defective components like choke (ballast), electronic driver (in case of LED Lights), ignitor, capacitor, lamp, lamp holder, connector, connection wires/ cable, MCB etc and refixing the fitting in its original position (if taken down), including repairing of street light control timer & junction box and makethe light fitting functionable in all respects complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note:- (a) Spares such as choke (ballast), electronic driver, Ignitor, capacitor, lamp, lamp holder, connector, connection wire, MCB, timer spares etc shall be measured & paid separately under respective items. (b) The contractors / Representative shall report to concerned JE E/M at 09.00 hours daily to collect the details of complaints of defective street light fittings and shall submit the completion report of complaints of fitting on the same day before 17.30 hours to JE E/M. (c) The contractor shall rectify the defects / repair and make the street light functional within 24 hours from the time of handing over of complaint over by the concerned JE E/M. An amount of Rs 150/ day per complaint shall be recovered from contractor if street light shall not be repaired and functionable within 24 hours.

(d) Contractor shall arrange requisite and sufficient no of labours,ttransport and vehicle mounted hydraulic ladder etc at his own arrangement. (e) The contracor shall maintain proper record of repair/maint of light fittings in a binded register duly showing the details of spares replaced on each and every street light and get it authenticated from concerned JE E/M on daily basis. The contractor shall show the record register to Engineer-in-charge for inspection every Monday or as and when asked for. (f) The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety of his men engaged for executing this work and provide all requisite safety equipment and clothings etc to Electrician & Helper. Contractor shall be fully responsible for any kind of mishappening /accident / injury etc if any to his employed labours.

(g) The contractor shall maintain sufficient stock of spares/material as required for repair/maint of street lights. (h) Contractor quoted rate shall be inclusive for screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire, gaskets and other minor items as required for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition.

All as per item No 24 but for light fittings from high mast poles of 11 to 13 m long.

Taking down high mast fitting from high mast structure through motorised system of 16/20m high and cheking all fittings including cleaning & lubricating of steel rope and repair the light fittings to make functional by replacing Flood light. Note:- Flood light and connecting cable shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items .

S&F in repair single core pvc insulated and sheathed cable with multistranded aluminium condutor of size 2.5 sqmm and drawn into existing GI pipe bracket and connect to street light fittings

M&L for street light bracket made out of 40mm dia medium grade GI pipe of 1.2m length bent to required shape , suitable for fixing street light / security light fitting on Steel tubular pole / RCC pole / building wall including two Nos of clamps made out 30mm X 5mm flat iron with suitable nuts and bolts (clamp type - as per site requirement ) including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer and taking down the existing unserviceable rusted street light brackets with clamps, nuts and bolts etc complete all as directed.

M&L Re-stretching ,tightening and fixing in position, the existing OH ACSR conductor LT line 3 phase with neutral and earth wire 440 V, 5/6 wire by loosing and taking down existing binding wire from the insulator of any size of ACSR conductor and bring it to required sag including provision of new binding wire and tightening of cross arm on each pole and required trimming of tree branches. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- 1. Each line of wire shall be measured separately. 2. Unit rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be include for cutting and trimming branches of the trees coming in contact with ACSR conductor and separators as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for trimming /pruning of tree branches touching to the LT over head line or near to the LT over head line as per direction of Engineer-in- charge complete including removing the tree branches from site complete all as specified and directed . NOTE : (a) A written shut down shall be obtained from concerned JE / AGE E/M before carrying out the trimming work in hand by contractor (b) Approximate span between poles shall be 30 to 50m. (c) T & P such as ladder , rope, cutter , axes and other related material shall be provided by the contractor.

M & L for cleaning the rusted portion of street light steel tubular type poles and painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat primer from top to bottom including painting on cross arms /FI clamps /street light brackets of any type including making painting alternative portion with black and yellow bands with synthethic enemelled paint upto 1.5m height from ground level & writing of pole numbers with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying & testing of XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric under ground cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, laid in trenches, sleeving through pipes or fixed on poles & walls or laid under floors including jointing with crimping of suitable size aluminium lugs complete of size 10 Sqmm nominal cross section x 2 core.
