Providing watch and ward duty for departmental materials and attending the routine maintenance works of floating crafts sweeping and claening and other maintenance of residential building and non residential building at Minicoy for one year

Providing watch and ward duty to department buildings godown, office, stock yards at various locations mainly in office premises and jetty area floating crafts in night time and Public Holidays as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Attending routine maintenance of floating crafts like steel pontoon, ‘A’ frame barge, Dumb barge, Tug and boat etc including bailing out of water from crafts periodically, checking the anchor, handling while towing, providing oil, grease etc to wire rope, pulley, assisting the repair works in work shop etc as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge including cost of all labour charges but excluding cost of all materials.

Running and maintenance of department Fork lift, tractor, and trailor as and when required basis as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge and assisting the Operator in their works excluding cost of spare parts oil, grease etc but including cost of all labour charges etc complete.

Assisting the department staff in day to day works in Sub division Office, store handling as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge excluding cost of materials but including all labour charges etc complete.

Attending Electrical and water supply repairs in Residential and Non Residential Buildings, Jetty and cleaning the water sump and drainage gutters etc. Attending day to day maintenance of Guest House, cleaning the guest house and surroundings, providing care taker when ever Guests are available etc., excluding cost of all materials but including cost of all labour charges etc., complete.

Sweeping and cleaning of departmental buildings such as Sub-Division Office, Work shop, Guest house, Passenger halls, Waiting hall and its surrounding areas and connected ten toilets daily and jetty surface weekly (Approximately 2400 M2) as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge including cost of all labour charges cleaning materials, minor tools such as broom, brushes etc., complete but excluding cleaning lotion etc., which will be provided by department on free of cost.
