SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT OF ADMIN BLDG PHASE-I OF PCDA AT NEW CANTT ALLAHABAD UNDER GE (WEST) ALLAHABAD.

Dismantling of bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles laid dry and pointed in any mortar in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, over roof surfaces etc. in each layer complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of mud in roofs any thickness and stripping out/ taking down old existing tar felt from any type of roof including plaster complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated/demolished materials to a distance exc 500 Mtr but not exc. 1.50 Km and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting out cracks to 'V' groove section of existing roof or terracing, cleaning out, wetting, grouting with cement slurry in CM 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in padding over roof slab, roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges, RCC chajjas complete all as specified and directed. (Note- Average thickness of padding shall not exceed 40mm without written approval of Accepting officer)

Provision of Roof treatment consisting of the following items and operations :- (a) Cleaning the roof surface from dust / dirt and any other foreign materials . (b) M&L for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) over concrete surfaces of roof, mixed with 3% integral water proofing compound by weight of cement or as per manufacturers instruction including finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement. (c) Applying a coat of bituminious primer @ 0.50 liters per square meter uniformily after the surfaces fully dried (d) M&L for applying a coat of hot blown bitumen grade 85/25 conforming to IS 702 over primed surface of roof slab @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed. (e) M&L for APP based polymeric water proofing membrane weight minimum 3.5 Kg / Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (weight not less than 160 gms/Sqm or as per IS), laid over hot bitumen surface by torched application. (f) Applying a tack coat of hot blown bitumen grade 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm. (g) Binding with coarse sand dry @ 1.00 Kg/Sqm dusted over bitumen. NOTE:- Integral water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately under item No .9 of this Sch A.

M&L for 40mm thick brick tiles jointed & pointed in CM 1:4 mixed with linseed oil @ 5% by weight of cement laid over a bedding layer of 15mm screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 7 above but except brick tiles complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Old brick tiles retrieved from dismantling shall be used in this item.

Supply only Integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of water tank of capacity exceeding 250 litre but not exceeding 500 litres complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 500 litres capacity rotational moulded molded polyethylene water storage tanks ISI marked, triple layered(cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted & fixed in position complete all as specified in SSR Part-I and directed.

S&F 2000 litres capacity rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks ISI marked, triple layered(cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted & fixed in position complete all as specified in SSR Part-I and directed.

S&F in repair 40mm bore gun metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair stop valve, cast copper alloy, chromium plated with long shank and cup screwed down, screwed both ends for 25mm bore iron pipe or for unions complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 40mm bore pipes steel tubing and connections including cleaning for refixing or removing to store or removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 25mm bore pipes steel tubing and connections including cleaning for refixing or removing to store or removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 40mm bore Steel water tubing 'medium grade', galvanised with all fittings like elbow, tee, socket, bend etc and fixed to wall, ceiling or laid in floor complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing 40mm bore Steel water tubing 'medium grade', galvanised with new fittings like elbow, tee, socket, bend etc and fixed to wall, ceiling or laid in floor complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 25mm bore Steel water tubing 'medium grade', galvanised with all fittings like elbow, tee, socket, bend etc and fixed to wall, ceiling or laid in floor complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing 25mm bore Steel water tubing 'medium grade', galvanised with new fittings like elbow, tee, socket, bend etc and fixed to wall, ceiling or laid in floor complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonary, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quions, arches, pillars, etc. but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, chajjas, staircases, landings and similar suspended work (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with Fly Ash old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain Cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in bed block and coping including forms/ moulds etc. finished even and smooth with using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L TMT bars 6 to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 25 above but 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders.

Use and waste of form work to rough finished surfaces of concrete to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs n.exc 20cm wide and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exc 10 cm but n.exc 20 cm wide complete all as specified and directed.

M&L RCC 1:1½:3 type A-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in slab supported on wall, beams, and coloumns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and similar works complete all as specified and directed. Note:- re-inforcement shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule)

Dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided complete all as specified and directed.

M&L rolled mild steel framed work such as roof trusses, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing(beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc conforming to Fe-410 Gde E-250 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces of steel or iron of any description over 10cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for polycarbonate roof sheet 4mm thick with co-extruded UV coating of 40 microns, anti glare-white diffuser colour with 100% light dispersion ratio, the sheet should confirms ASTM standards D2240 for hardness shore A, D412 for Tensile strength & alongation break, D624 for Tear strength, D573 for heat resistance and fixing with EPDM washer complete all as specified. The sheet installation shall be carried out as per manufacturer's recommendation and as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:1½:3 type A0 using 12.5mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate of thickness exceeding 15mm and not exceeding 25mm in repairs of RCC beams, roof and chajjas including setting coat 5mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 and including necessary form work & scafolding etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster any description from walls/ceiling etc including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface of wall and finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement including necessary scafolding upto four storey bldgs complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface of wall complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete surface in ceiling, finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing new surfaces of wall and applying two coats of Exterior emulsion paint (Apex Ultima of Asian paint or equivalent make as specified in PS) white or tinted over and including a coat of alkali resistance primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of Oil bound distemper over a coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of walls finishes any type by vigorously wire brushing, brooming, dusting & finally washing with water to clear the surface absolutely free from any kind of existing finishes & foreign material making good minor cracks etc and applying two coats of exterior emulsion paint (Apex Ultima of Asian paint or equivalent make as specified in PS) white or tinted and a coat of alkali resistance primer over and including two or more coats cement based wall care putty to making surface absolutely uniform smooth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for two coats of white wash on old plastered surfaces of wall including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up (salt glazed ware, AC, PVC) drain pipes of any dia set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipe single socketed in any length with rubber ring joint fixed to wall with PVC clamp complete all as specified and directed.

S&F PVC (SWR) bend suitable for 110mm bore PVC pipe jointed with solvent complete all as specified and directed.
