Earth work in embankment by tractor trailer carriage by mechanical means with locally available ordinary/normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 25 cm thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debries, breaking clods up to 4 cm cube, dressing as per design section and compaction with three wheel static roller of 80-100 kN capacity in layers not exceeding 30 cm in thickness and core cutter soil test at every layer and every 500 m distance, etc. complete as directed.For initial Lead up to 1.00 Km for all lifts.

Earth work in embankment by Tractor-trailer carriage by mechanical means in locally available ordinary soil excluding rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and stacking in regular measurable stacks at suitable places including clearing debries, breaking clods up to 4 cm cube, etc. complete as directed. (12.50 % deduction will be made from measured quantities on account of shrinkage)For initial lead upto 1km and for all lifts.

Spreading of earth stacks over the crest and slope of embankment and places as directed in uniform layer of 22 cm. thick including breaking clods, dressing, ramming etc. complete where necessary including dressing of the embankment, etc. complete as directed.

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pegging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90 m and all lifts, etc. complete as directed.

Serviceable empty cement bags

Labour charge for filling of empty cement bags to attain minimum filled up volume of 0.028 Cum with filled up size of 0.7 m × 0.40 m × 0.10 m, laying and pitching of the earth filled cement bags including excavation and borrowing earth, breaking clods, filling in bags and supplying and stitching the mouth with jute sutli, etc. complete as directed. (Cement bags will be supplied by the department free of cost).For borrowing earth from a distance beyond 30 m. & up to 60 m.

Construction of whole bamboo double palisading of 1.5 m width with matured Bhaluka bamboo 7.5 cm to 10 cm dia., 15 cm clear apart, 1.5 m to 2.5 m above and 1.2 m to 1.5 m below ground tied with cane/wire 16 G. and horizontal half Jati bamboo kamies at not more than 0.45 m apart including fixing whole Bhaluka bamboo cross struts at 1.50 m apart tied together with Bhaluka bamboo posts, including inside lining with straight woven bamboo chattai and laying properly including fitting fixing, etc. complete as directed. (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 27.18 nos./Rm& Jati Bamboo at the rate of 8.00 nos./Rm)

Construction of whole bamboo single palisading with matured Jati bamboo stacks 7.5 cm to 100 mm dia., 15 cm clear apart 1.20 m to 1.80 m above ground and 1.00 m to 1.20 m below ground with Jati bamboo inclined struts fixed 1.2 m to 1.5 m apart tied with three rows of horizontal half Jati bamboo kamies with cane/wire of 16 G to 18 G etc. complete as directed.(Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 8.67 nos./Rm &Jati Bamboo at the rate of 2.40 nos./Rm)
