Outsourcing services for operation and maintenance of DG sets-03 Nos, centrifugal pump sets-02 Nos and its connected accessories such as suction & delivery valve, LT switch gear, LT panel including recording of all parameters connected with installation & upkeeping of valves etc including keeping the premises clean and tidy at Coast Guard technical area Panambur, New Mangalore round the clock by employing one skilled operator for 08 hours in each shift complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge:- Details of Installations: DG sets panel boards, pumps and any other valves installed in the area as directed by Engineer-in-charge Shift Timings Shift I : 0800 Hrs to 1600 Hrs Shift II : 1600 Hrs to 2400 Hrs Shift III : 2400 Hrs to 0800 Hrs Notes for BOQ item Nos.1 to 4: (i) The rate quoted shall be for 01(One) Skilled operator for per shift. (ii) Each shift is for 08 hours including Sunday and holiday (with necessary reliever). (iii) Contractor shall employ 01 skilled operator with ITI/recognised ITC qualified FGM (Fitter & general mechanic) for carrying out the work in each shift (iv) The duty Electrician shall have all required tools, safety equipments for attending all types of emergency electric complaints in the entire station and the rate quoted for the this item is deemed to be inclusive of the same.

Shift Timings Shift I : 0800 Hrs to 1600 Hrs Shift II : 1600 Hrs to 2400 Hrs Shift III : 2400 Hrs to 0800 Hrs Notes for BOQ Item Nos. 1 to 4 :- (i) The contractor shall maintain an attendance register of all the staff employed as per above and get it authenticated by nominated person of the department. (ii) The contractor shall provide log book/log sheet ,uniforms to the operator ,safety equipments / contrator is also responsible for transportation of fuel , lubricants etc from MES store to the installations and general cleanliness of the premises and installations. Unit rate quoted by the Contractor includes the above. Nothng extra shall be paid the contractor on the this account. (iii) Any damage done to the installation and equipments by mishandling of the same by the operator, the same shall be make good the entire satisfaction of GE without any extra cost to Govt.
