SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT (MBBR TECHNOLOGY) Design, supplying, installing, testing & commissioning of Sewage Treatment Plant (excluding excavation, back filling & disposal of surplus earth MS/Civil construction work) for the following duty: Nature of effluent - Domestic Sewage from toilet, kitchen waste water shall be discharged into the STP. Design to take consideration of same. Daily average flow - 100 Cum / Day pH - 7.5 – 8.5 BOD5 - 250 – 450 Mg/L S. Solids - 200 – 400 Mg/L COD - 600 – 800 Mg/L Oil & Grease - 50 Mg / L Effluent discharge standard after treatment pH - 6.0 – 8.5 BOD5 - Less than 20Mg/L S. Solids - Less than 10 Mg/L COD - Less than 60 Mg/L Oil & Grease - Less than 5 Mg / L Sewage treatment plant shall include the following items: Screen Chamber Sewage equalization tank/sump MBBR Reactor Secondary Settling Tank Chlorine Contact Tank Sludge Holding Tan Filtration through MGF & ACF Air Blowers, Pumps & equipment Piping, valves etc Electrical Panel & Cabling Quoted rate should include Approval from pollution board at initial & various other stages of works including preparation of report/ drawings as per pollution board requirement, arrangement of raw sewage for testing & commissioning. Contractor shall include the cost of all chemicals (consumed during testing & commissioning and the cost of such items of works which are not explicitly mentioned above, but are mendatory to have pollution board approval.

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Stainless Steel Perforated, Corrugated Bar Screen with manual lifting arrangement.

Supply of MS hot dip galvanized puddle flanges in accordance to BS:10 table D as required to be provided (in the structural slab and wall) of various diameters. Puddle flanges shall be provided for all the structural component of the STP. The installation of the puddle flanges shall be carried out by the Civil contractor in accordance to the Civil GA drawing (to be prepared by the STP contractor) at the required levels & position; under the supervision of the STP contractor.

Supply of plastic manhole step/foot rest (@ 300 mm c/c) with polypropelene compound injection molded around 12 mm dia (Fe-415) steel reinforcing bar. Provision of the foot rest is envisaged in various tanks/ components of the STP for the purpose of accessability. The installation of the foot rest shall be done by the civil contractor as per civil GA drawing.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of electronic type Auto Water Level Controller indicator and controller for automatic operation of the system with high/low level alarm complete with auxillary NO/NC contacts for each tank.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of non clogging type pumps capable of handling solids upto 35mm having SS casing & SS impeller complete with all accessories, motor of required capacity. Delivery header with isolation valve, pressure gauge on delivery line with isolation cock, level controller (with wiring) to control the level of sump automatically. Pumps shall have following duty:

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Submersible Sewage lifting pump (from Septic Tank to Equalization Tank) Capacity- 1HP, 0.75KW, Flow Rate- 2m3/hr Head- 8-10m

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Submersible Sewage lifting pump (from Equalization Tank to MBBR Tank) Capacity- 2HP, 1.5KW Flow Rate- 5-6m3/hr Head- 8-10m

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Sludge pump (from Clarifier Tank to Sludge Sump) Capacity- 1HP, 0.75KW Flow Rate- 5- m3/hr Head- 3-4m Cost shall be inclusive of PVC flexible Hose pipe ( for piping submeged in effluent) with MS epoxy piping (for piping non-submerged in effluent). Provision of guide ropes to guide submersible pump from upper level to operational level in sump basin with channels / angle section of MSEP shall be made by the STP contractor.

(for MBBR Tanks)

Air piping shall comprise of pipes droppers/ laterals with MS (epoxy coated) Header complete with all fittings such as tees, crosses, plugs, sockets, elbows, reducers, supports & clamps, puddle flanges etc cutting chases & making good. Contactor to submit detailed P & I indicating their proposal.

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Fine Bubble Diffusers, Dimensions: 63mm dia. x 1000mm long, EPDM Membrane Type, Air Flow Rate: 3m3/hr- 9m3/hr (Optimal 2m3/hr - 5m3/hr)

Bronze Ball valve and air dispersion grid as required for STP as described above.

Providing and fixing all piping (as described below) and isolation control valves for making the system complete. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of FAB (MBBR) Media, High Strength Hollow Fiber, Pore Size- 0.6micron

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of PVC tube deck settling media to be installed in Clarifier Tank, V-Type Media, Settling Velocity- 0.5m/s

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Chlorine dosing system comprising of 200 ltrs HDPE / FRP tank with 0-12 lph electronic metering type pump.

Supplying, installing, testing & commissioning of horizontal centrifugal filter feed water pumps CI Head & Base, Bronze Impeller along with motor, pressure gauge with isolation cock, Isolation valve, NRV on delivery line. Isolation valve, stainer (with by-pass) at suction. Mechanical seal, suitable vibration elimination pads of approved design, drain pipe with valve (25 dia) for the pump. The pump shall be suitable for 415±10% volts 3 phase AC supply. (1 Working + 1 Standby)

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Centrifugal Filter Feed pump (from Chlorination Tank to MGF) Capacity- 1.5HP, 1.12KW Flow Rate- 5-6m3/hr Head- 3-4m

Providing, fixing, testing & commissioning of vertical FRP filter with adequate dirt holding capacity. Fabricated from FRP as per manufacturer's specifications complete with initial charge filter media including painting Including concrete foundation with cement plaster complete as required. The filter shall also be provided with set of internals for raw water inlet and bottom collecting system. Complete with frontal piping (heavy) and butterfly valves designed on 1.50 m / sec velocity.

Providing and laying GI pipes (heavy class) (Tertiary Treatment Equipment Piping) of approved make conforming to IS:1239-1982 complete with GI fittings such as tees, crosses, plugs, sockets, elbows, reducers, unions, flanges, sleeve pieces, check nuts etc in including cutting and making good the walls, floors, RCC work etc cutting chases & filling the same with cement concrete 1:3:6 (1cement :3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) or cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement:4 coarse sand) as required, including painting the exposed pipes with desired shade of enamel paint over a coat of primer.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Filter Press; MS Structure, P.P. Recessed Plate Type, Vertical 470mm x 470mm x 18 Chambers, along with 2nos. of 1HP Screw Pump for feeding of the Sludge (1 W + 1 Standby)

Annual Operation, upkeeing and maintenance of all equipments, machineries and accessories related to 100KLD Sewage Treatment Plant involving operation minor condition of the system, ensuring serviceability / satisfactory working condition of the system, maintenance of records / documentation of the above works etc., as per the detailed specification, terms & conditions covered under this contract on all days including Sundays & holidays of the month complete as required. The required minimum man power (One Technician cum Operator and One Helper in each shift for round the clock operation and One sweeper in General shift) to be deployed for each shift of 8 hrs for the equipments to be operated and upkeeped shall be as per Technical specification and special condition of contract. Required spares and chemicals shall be issued by department as per site requirement.
