Modification of existing Charpoy GI (Newar) as per FD-220 to hard bed with necessary arrangement and fittings as follows including tightening all the component of Charpoy, removal of newar and wooden blocks at bottom of legs complete all as specified and as directed:- (i) Provideing 2 Nos MS flat iron stiffeners of 840 x 35 x 5mm thick size fixed to each GI tube long rail dividing length into equal three parts by welding and drilling holes for bolts. (ii) Providing 4 Nos MS cleats made out of flat iron size 35mm x 5mm x 50mm long on both side of charpoy along short rails (two on head side and two on foot side) by welding a nd drilling holes for bolts. (iii)) Providing MS plate 34mm dia, 3mm thick at bottom of legs welded properly and fixing of 3mm thick rubber sheet under MS plate using adhesive. (iv) Supply and fixing of 12mm thick (7 ply) plywood top with commercial face, boling water resistant (BWR) Grade and type BB as per IS:3030:1989, IS 1328:1996 and IS 848:2006 of size 1980mm x 900mm fixed over the MS cleats, MS stiffeners with chromiumplated screw or bolt 8 Nos , 6mm dia and length not less than 40mm . (v) Stiffeners and cleats shall be finished with painted two coat synthetyic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer.

Removing/taking out care fully existing unserviceable ply wood top from Charpoy steel Tubular with hard top and S & F (New) ply wood top 12 mm thick (7 Ply) BWR grade type BB, with commercial face as per existing sixe, fixed to the frame with new steel screws of appropriate sixe all as shown on drawings complete all as specified and as directed.
