REPAIR /MAINT TO CERTAIN ROADS AT JALIPA MIL STATION UNDER GE (A) BARMER

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth area not exceeding 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat VG-10 at 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premix bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm binded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) with 8 to 12 tonne power roller depth of pot holes not exc. 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for preparing old black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bituminous primer RS -1 confirming to IS 8887 at 5 kg per 10 sq metre with mechanical sprayer all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Material & labour for premix bituminous macadam mixed in automatic hot mix plant with paving bitumen VG-40 with 4.5 % by weight of total mix laid by mechanical paver and rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less )by , 8-10 tonne capacity power road roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix using bitumen of grade VG-40, rolled and compacted with 8-10 tonne power road roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing new or old bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.0mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n exc 10cm wide on roads pavements except zebra crossing with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one coat of plastic paint on old concrete surface including surface preparation of any description (Road side cement concrete kerb stone in ZABRA Pattern) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair for identification sign/cautionary mandatory and information sign board area exc 0.60 Sqm and n exc 1.20 Sqm with thickness not less than 3.0mm aluminium composite panel covered by encapsulated lens type retro reflective sheet (grade 3M type II diamond grade of make 3M/dark eye/SNI ) on both side with green base, including writing of necessary letter/symbols of reflective type fixed on and including stainless steel frame of size 25mmx25mm and hang on 50mm dia stainless steel pipe(fabrication work from SS-304 material) of height 2.4 mtr from ground level to top and post embeded in ground with PCC 1:3:6 TYPE C-2 using 40mm graded aggregate of size 45x45x45cm including necessary excavation and earth work and making plateform of size 150x45x30cm with PCC 1:2:4 using 20mm graded aggregate including necessary formwork and covering all exposed surfacess with black colour glazed ceramic tile (joint less) of size (600x300x7mm) / (450x300x7mm thick over and including 10mm thick backing coat in cement mortar(1:4) set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed to match the tiles complete. Note:- The specifaction of board is held with GE(A) Barmer as sketch. The letters and symbols etc on both side shall be as per site requirement of user and as approved by GE. The size and font of wording/ arrow/ symbols as per direction of Engineer In-Charge.

S&F cat eye two side reflective type of metal aluminiumstud body alloy of size 110mm x 120mm x 20mm with PMMA strip lens reflector of suitable size as per manufactures instructions fixed with epoxy complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Dark eye/ Road Star/ 3M/ SNI/ ace polymers, fire equipment engineers, dish steel fab or equivalent makes as per Appx 'C' and as approved by GE.

S&F solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to IP 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-cd rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instruction fixed with epoxy etc complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Dark eye/ Road Star/ 3M/ SNI/ ace polymers, fire equipment engineers, dish steel fab or equivalent makes as per Appx 'C' and as approved by GE.
