M&L for preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces with gunny bags/Air compressor blower to remove all loose dust/dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) at 5 kg per 10 square metres using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen VG-30 wiyh 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) In case the binder contents by weight of total mix is less than 5.5% as per per actual design mix, The prices adjustment shall be made as per average rates of all paid voucher for bitumen pertaining to this work. if the total binder contents as per design mix is more than 5.5% no prices adjustment shall be made for the same. (ii) Job mix formula for Semi Dense asphaltic concrete shall be obtained from the institutions specified in CA prior to commencement of work and shall be got approved from the GE.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area N. exc 400 sqm and N. exc 50 mm mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam with 4% bitumen binder by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) (paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix spread, rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) In case the binder contents by weight of total mix is less than 4% as per per actual design mix, The prices adjustment shall be made as per average rates of all paid voucher for bitumen pertaining to this work. if the total binder contents as per design mix is more than 4% no prices adjustment shall be made for the same. M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads paths etc cutting around edges to atlest 25mm in depth making good by filling in screened & graded road metal watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for marking 2.5mm thick centre line side line stop line dashes arrow brackets & similar work 10 cm wide and over on road surfaces as per IRC pattern with thermo plastic paint of approved quality & make with 8% glass beads laid at temperature of 160 degree centigrade with a special applicator machine complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description exceeding 15cm thick as in floor/paving and removing the same upto 5.00Km or out side MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for course sand filling under floors or in foundation including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay 400 micron thick HDPE sheet ( Virgin quality ) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/Sqm over tackcoat/ sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as 300mm , complete all specified and directed.

Used waste of form work to side of concrete fair finished flat surface of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) thickness upto 250mm with minimum field Flexural Strength of 45 Kg/Sqcm lower control limit (LCL) at 28 days in pavement slab using min 400 Kg of cement per cum (only 43 grade OPC must be used in PQC) mixed with non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement by mech means at the rate of 0.25% by weight of cement per cum of PQC. The max size of aggregate in PQC must be 31.5 mm and gradation (as per Table 600-3 of MORTH Specification) including formwork for laying in bays, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note :- (i) Expansion joints, Construction joints and Dummy (Contraction) joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. No deduction shall be made in computing PQC for Construction joints and Dummy (Contraction) joints. (iii) Finishing coat shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) For the purpose of pricing this item, cement content shall be considered 400 Kg/Cum. Minus price adjustment @ Rs 8 per Kg for cement shall be made to the quoted rates in case quantity of cement is less than 400 Kg/ Cum. However no plus price adjustment shall be made to the quoted rate in case quantity of cement is more than 400 Kg/ Cum. (v) The cost of admixture required as per design mix shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vi) Non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" under respective item of BOQ. (vii) Design mix for PQC shall be got carried out by the contractor from NABH accedredited IIT/NIT/Govt Engg College/Govt approved Lab and shall be got approved by GE before commencement of cement concrete work in PQC/hardstanding.

Supply only polyester triangular fibre 6x12 mm long with semicircle dia 30-35 micron designed for melting point 240 to 260 degree Celsius and having specific gravity of 1.34-1.40, and mixing @ 0.25% by weight of cement make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Finishing surface of concrete floors / hard standing by brooming complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as sub base and foundation of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming construction joint 10mm wide and 30mm deep and filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming construction (dummy) joint 65mm deep and 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed.
