| 1.04Note :- (i) The contractor shall produce test certificate as per IS-1180 alongwith high voltage test from the firms after repair. (ii) To accertain the fault of transformer at installed location, the transformer will be tested with HT 10KV magger, multimeter in the presence of AGE E/M/JE E/M. All T&P required like HT magger 10KV, multimeter and cables will be arrenged by contractor. (iii) All the transformer shall be opened in presence of Engr- in- Charge/ his rep verify the various repairs/replacement involved and the transformer shall be assembled in the presence of Engr- in- Charge/his rep after necessary repairs/replacement. (iv) All the transformer shall be tested in the factory in the presence of Engr- in- Charge/ his rep, as per ser note No 1 above and also in addition the transformer where specified to be installed and commissioned on the 2/4 pole structure, platform and also shall be tested by the contractor in the presence of Engr- in- Charge. (v) All the testing arrangement shall be provided by the contractor without any extra payment. (vi) The contractor shall also furnished a guarantee certificate himself for rectification of the defects. If any noticed defect during liability period for 01 year from the certified date of completion. (vii) The above shall however does not absolve the responsibility of the contractor for rectification of any defect, if any noticed during guarantee period of 01 year as per condition 46 of IAFW-2249 and the contractor shall be solely responsible for entire completion of work and for rectification of the defect/replacement of items/parts and required pointed out by the GE during defect liability period of 01 year. M& L for dismantling of transformers indoor/outdoor type complete, opening top cover by unscrewing nuts, bolts, unserviceable HT/LT coil of transformer, gaskets, bushing core tap changer, draining out transformer oil and keep safely for reuse after filtration, cleaning the inner body with caustic soda/detergent and washing to removing sludge etc, painting the inner side tank by Zinc chromate paint and preparing the same for reassembling after commissioning and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge of following capacity :-

Supply & Filling of transformer oil in transformer in situ/at site for toping up the level of oil having dielectric strength 60 KV during filling after initial filtration conforming to IS-335. Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed container complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Dehydration/ filtration of transformer oil of existing transformer installed at site with portable plant to improve the dielectric strength 60 KV during filling after initial filtration including testing of sample before and after dehydration, testing of dielectric strength after dihydration at site. Note:- (i) dehydration of transformer oil in the Transformer carried out on the site by dehydration machine. (ii) All the Labour work like disconnect of cable and reassemble and drum etc, carried out by contractor by own arrenement.) (iii) Shutdown of HT /LT line shall be taken by contractor in writting from MES rep. (iv) All arrengement of DG set of suitable capacity of electric supply for running of dehydration plant, T&P and other items required will be arranged by contractor and deem to be included in the cost of dehydration/filtration and nothing extra on this account will be admissiable. Any damage after filtration shall be solely responsibility of Contractor & same shall be repaired without any additional cost.
Painting on surfaces and cooling coils/ fins of transformer indoor/ outdoor on plinth/ pole/ in workshop with two coat of synthetic enamel paint with compressor spray Gun after removing all dust, Rust (superior quality of colour as approved by GE / AGE E/M as per standard engineering practice), writing SM No, MES No, Make and capacity with white paint having height of each letter not less than 2.5cm and width not less than 1cm , paint shall confirmed to IS-2032 as directed by Engr-in-Charge for following capacity of transformer ;-

Testing of power transformers of Capacity 5 MVA to 10 MVA installed at MRS with Carried out the following test as the desire satisfaction of Engineer in-charge/GE :- (a) Voltage ratio test (b) Magnetization Current Test (c) Voltage balancing Test (d) Oil testing having Dielectric strength upto 100 KV NOTE :- (i) The contractor shall produce test certificate against above tests from ser no (a) to (d) from the certified firm.
Taking out existing unsv surge arrester any type and Supply, install, testing and commissioning single pole lighting arrestor rated 33 KV for system highest voltage of 36 KV, of gapless metal oxide type - polymer housing, discharge current 10 KA, class I, basic insulation level 170KV, complete with all accessories and including necessary connection all as specified and as per IS : 3070 Part-III and IEC 60099-4 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L for disconnecting of transformer from power mains and lifting from platform and fix aside of platform for rapairing of damage platform and after fixing at site same connection for fed to electric supply to the connected area complete after carriedout repair work transformer fixed as per existing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Height of the strap shall be 30 cm and number of strap shall be 05 Nos writing pole no of letter size 2” by sign with white paint as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L, Scraping, including cleaning and preparation of old surfeces of 4 pole structre with any type size of pole including channels /nuts/ bolts/ GOD/ anti climbing device complete and painting with two coat for aluminium paint after preparation of the steel surfaces of pole and steel structure of pole and steel structre fixed along pole and then applied painting 05 nos band /strips with fluorescent , Black/ Red/ White/ Green and Black synthetic enamel paint ( 30 cm wide each) at a distance of 30 cm from plinth block. Height of the strap shall be 30 cm and number of strap shall be 05 Nos writing pole no of letter size 2” by sign with white paint as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L, Surface Dressing/Cleaning of surrounding area of 2/4 pole/transformer pilinth/ TR structure including removing of any type and size of tree branches / plants and bushes etc with Triming of tree branches (tree prunning) up to 3 mtr surounding of 2/4 pole sructre s/stn boundary to clear including removing the cut branches from site and depositing at places all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for plat form of transformer including necessary form work and demolitions of existing damaged part of concrete.
M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping / pedestal of poles including necessary form work, fair finishing to exposed surfaces including demolation of existing damaged part of concrete
M&L for taking down old damage plaster arround the transformer pilinth and dameged platform Preparing the surfaces, Curing of pointed surface, Cleaning stains and dripping mortars from floors and walls etc. and Rendering 10mm thick 1:4 cement plasters on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces complete all as specifed
Taking out unsv channels and Supply and fixing pre-fabricated MS structural steel (IS marked) work consisting of channels / angles / other sections etc of various sizes and shape, cut / weld / drilled holes etc hot / cold in position for cross arms with FI clamps (full, half D and earth clamp etc) incl necessary MS bolts, nuts etc and painting, all as directed and specified.
M & L for replacement of unsv earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60x60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr deep below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron strip of size 32x6mm as earthing lead by means of nuts, bolts and washers of steel after welding of GI strip to earth electrode to the full lenght of earth plate,40mm dia GI tubing light grade protection pipe upto test point, 20mm dia GI watering pipe with funnel and wire mesh, PCC pit 1:3:6 with pit cover of size 30X30cm made of RCC 1:3:6 with suitable handle,angle iron frame made of angle iron of size 40x40x4mm, adequate qty of charcoal dust and salt layers all around the earth plate, removal of surplus soil and returning filling in all as required at site including test point terminal made of gun matel or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x 25mm ,drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw complete fixed to wall all as specified in plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and directed by Engr-In-Charge.Note Earth testing result should be less then 2 Om, if not re-earthing will be done by contractor without any cost.
M&L for earthing complete with copper plate electrode 60cmx60cmx3.15mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to and including earth lead of copper strip 20x3mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of cooper all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion and excavation and earth work in any type of strata, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 in chamber, precast RCC cover 50mm thick in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) with cast iron frame, funnel with wire mesh, 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade watering pipe, lugs, 40mm bore GI pipe light grade protection pipe up to 7.5m with funnel and wire mesh, PCC pit 1:3:6 with pit cover of size 30X30cm made of RCC 1:3:6 with suitable handle,angle iron frame made of angle iron of size 40x40x4mm, adequate qty of charcoal dust and salt layers all around the earth plate, including test point terminal made of gun matel or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x 25mm ,drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw complete fixed to wall removal of surplus soil and returning filling in all as required at site including test point fixed to wall all as specified in plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and directed by Engr-In-Charge. .Note Earth testing result should be less then 2 Om, if not re-earthing will be done by contractor without any cost.
Scraping old paint from steel sections of transformer plateform withpout removing accessories and preparation of surfaces incl plastering walls for repainting /white washing. Repainting the wall with one coat of snowcem of approved color and repainting the remaining Iron parts i.e. cross armes supporting angles , XPM jali. clamps GI bracket etc by one coat of aluminium paint all as reqiured at site or directed.
M & L for chequered cement conrete tiles 300x300x25 mm thick jointed and painted in neat cement slurry in with gray pigment and pigment over and incl screened bed in cm 1:6 complete.
M & L for 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm gradedagrregate as in as sub base of interlocking /ckecking tiles sorrounding of transfomer all specified and directed by engineer-in-Charge.
S&F in replacement of existing unserviceable anti climbing device spikes type fabricated out of MS bars (round, spuare or flat) including nuts, bolts washers and welding into two halves made to shape to suite the cross section of the pole including one coat of primer and one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint including preparation of suraface complete all as specified and directed.
S&F replacement of existing unserviceable danger notice board with pressed vitreous painted plate fabricated out of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enamelled white with letters.figures and convertional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamp bolts,and nuts of approved size for HT,25X20cm size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of existing UNSV Installation name Board/Sign Board with the size of 5 X 4 feet of PVC fibre sheet Board of 6 mm size heavy duty incl, writing Alphabatic letters computerised with reflectioned sheets to be made all as directed of size 150 mm fonts and fixed with stainless steel pipe heavy duty of size 40 / 50 mm dia and to be fixed out side the installation duly buried in ground along with required PCC and Top of the sign Board should not be less than 2.5 mtr complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and laying of earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or filled to poles or any other indicated situation or on cable tray for loop earthing etc. as required with 32x6mm Galvanised iron strip.
