Out sourcing of operation the lift electrically operated complete with power driven automatic steel sliding door suitable to carry 13 passengers installed at administrative building in COD area by engaging 01 No. Lift operator in day shift from 08:00 Hrs to 1600 Hrs excluding sundays and gazetted holidays complete all as specified and directed.

Carryout routine check up of lifts as recommended by manufacturer and maintain its records.

Give the telephonic information to concern JE in case of any emergency.

Duty staff will check the lifts, control panels and to keep the premises clean and tidy and will report break-downs or any defects immediately to the Engineer-in-charge/ concern JE.

Communicate message to standby DG set operator in case of electric failure.

The lift operator shall be qualified with ITI or equivalent to ITI certificate holder and should have sufficient practical experience.

Penalty for non possession of requisite qualification:- The work shall be commenced as per W.O No.1 issued for this contract. Any default on non-possession of requisite qualifications mentioned here-in-before for workmen engaged by the Contractor shall be liable to pay for penalty at the rate of Rs 200/- per day per person.

The operating personnel should be in neat uniform and with shoes. Sitting arrangement of operator in the lift will be provided by the Contractor.

(i) In case of lift operator employed found absent on duty, the contractor shall be liable to pay penalty at the rate of double the prevailing minimum wages as fixed by the Central Govt./state Govt or quoted rate whichever is higher per absentee per day. (ii) No additional recovery except as mentioned above will be effected from the quoted rates in Schedule 'A'/ BOQ on account of such cases.

Annual maintenance of following lifts in Adm Bldgs COD Kanpur including checking, repairing, replacing the defective items if any, preventive maintenance, greasing lubricating and providing necessary item required for up keeping the lift in working condition by the authorised and trained staff and as directed.

(a) Passenger Lift (08 Passenger) Machine No J-009009 installed at Adm Block at COD Kanpur Make-OTIS elevator Co. (India) Ltd

(b) Passenger Lift (13 Passenger) Machine No J-009254 installed at Adm Block at COD Kanpur Make-OTIS elevator Co. (India) Ltd

Notes:-

The unit rate quoted by the Contreactor shall be deeemed to be included for:- (i) Cost of replacement of all defective parts of lifts. (ii) Periodical examination and conducting of necessarry/ customary tests on above mentioned lifts including all safety devices and governors of the lifts bimonthly basis but not minimum 6 times during contract period by authorised service rep of OEM and submission of safety tests reports.

All repair/ maint shall be carried out by the Contractor from authorised and trained personels.

The Contractor will attend major troubleshooting & break down within 12 Hrs from time of call. incase the defects are not removed within 12 hours, a penalty of Rs 2000-per day will be deducted from the payment due to the contractor.

The necessary T&P and safty measures shall be provided by the Contractor and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

All safty measures as per Govt rules and regulations shall be adhered to.
