Removal of Rubber deposits on runway surface using water blasting cum vacuuming system with suitable operating pressure so that the total rubber deposits removed from runway both (rigid or flexible surface) without damaging to the existing surface. Total rubber deposits should be removed and the debris/ water to be vacuumed simultaneously leaving no FOD so that the runway is available for operation immediately etc complete all as specified and as directed. Make: The equipment/makes shall be only of the make/model No as approved by E-in-C's branch. Note: (a) The surface of both concrete/ bitumen (rigid/ flexible) shall not get any kind of damage during the process of rubber removal nor to any adjoining areas join filling etc. Damages made if any shall made good by the contractor without any extra cost complete as specified and as directed. (b) Runway surface friction will be tested by contractor prior and after of rubber removal for verification of improvement in the skid resistance. All the expenses in this regard shall be deemed to be included in the quoted related in above item. (c) The friction test reports shall be submitted along with claims.
Removal of Runway and airside paint by using water blasting cum vacuuming system with suitable operating pressure so that the total paint deposits are removed and pavement surface texture and surface condition remain intact complete all as specified and as directed.
