The proposed STP should be capable of treating domestic sewage coming from the Kaza Town (0.410 MLD). Total wastewater generation will be 410 KLDfor that a combined and strategic treatment a STP will be established in the Kaza Town with cold conditions. The domestic sewage will be having characteristics of BOD =375 mg/litre & suspended Solids =650 mg/litre and the characteristics of treated /disposable effluent should comply with the standards as per the norms of H.P. State Pollution Control Board i.e. PH = 6.5- 9, BOD ≤ 10 mg/litre, COD ≤ 50 mg/litre, TSS ≤ 20 mg /litre, Feacal Coliform (MPN /1000 ml) <100,N - Total ≤ 10 mg/litre, NH 4 - N ≤ 5 mg/litre .
The scope of work including C/O Inlet Chamber (01 Nos.), STP Screen Channel (02 Nos.), STP Grit Channel (02 Nos.), Anoxic Unit (02 Nos.) MBBR Unit Anoxic Unit (02 Nos.), Tube Settler Anoxic Unit (02 Nos.), Constructed Wetland (Root zone System) along with covering arrangements with poly carbonate sheet (03 Nos.) with area not less than 300 sqm, Multi Media Filter, (02 Nos.), Chlorine Contact Tank (01 Nos.), Interconnectivity pipe of STP & Effluent Pipe, Steel Gate, Interconnecting Path, Railing and Access Ladder, Plant Building/Chowkidhar Room and Laboratory Equipment’s (P&F) with total plinth area 80.50 sqm, Electro - Mechanic Equipment, Providing and Installation of DG set, capacity 62.5 KVA for Electricity Backup. All electro-mechanical instruments should be installed as per (CPHEEO Manual Latest edition / amendments) to achieve desire effluent norm / chapter No. I to V. It also includes site development for all civil structures, interconnecting path, providing and fixing Fencing Panel around the S.T.P Yard with gate and providing and fixing of yard lighting around STP with in all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The design methodology should be based on CPHEEO manual on Sewage and Sewage Treatment. The hydraulic and structure Design and drawings duly Wetted from IIT/NIT/PEC will be required during implementation phase.
