COMMON ITEMS OF JOB 'A' and JOB 'B'.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 M wide and not exc 1.5 M in depth for pipe line, etc in soft/ loose soil getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required level complete all as specified and as directed. (405+63 = 468 CUM)

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 Cm thick soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed. (373+57= 430 CUM)

Removing excavated material (Soils) from site to a distance not exc 50 M away and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed. (32+6=38 CUM)

Material and Labour for DI fittings specials such as Tees, bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, collars, tail pieces, caps and plugs upto 150mm dia bore confirming to IS: 1538-1993 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: (i) Old demolished item for JOB 'B' will be taken in charge and recorded in RV. (ii) Excavation & earthworkk shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ. (350+70=420 KG)

Supply & laying,jointing and testing of GI pipe "medium grade" ISI marked including all fittings such as tee, bend, elbow etc laid on walls/roof/trenches all as directed of following sizes :- Note :- (i) Excavation / Earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under respetive item of BOQ. (ii) Old U/s GI pipe & fittings obtained under Job 'B' shall be taken on charge and cost of taken down of old u/s GI pipe shall be deemed included in quoted unit rates.

M&L construction of valve pit chamber having internal dimension 90cmx90cmx90cm (internal height) with PCC (1:4:8) using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of 150mm depth & 230mm thick brick wall with sub class 'B' bricks wall in (1:4) and 10mm thick rendering all around the brick work in cement mortar 1:6 PCC (1:2:4) type B1 coping with 20mm graded aggregate for grounting MS frame incl 6mm thick MS top sheet cover with locking arrangement incl 50mm pad lock with double key arrangement. MS frame made out of 40x40x6mm thick angle iron incl painting of steel surface with two coats of syenthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50mtrs all as specified complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Supply, fixing, jointing & testing Cast Iron sluice Valve of following dia bore as under, ISI Marked, flanged ends drilled pressure rating PN-1.6, PD Short body, confirming to IS 14846 -2000, having stainless steel spindle with cast iron operation wheel at top all as specified and as directed at site by the Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Flanged joints complete with jointing material shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.

Supply & fixing mild steel work for tank cover etc made of MS angle /flats/channels etc including cutting of top and botttom to shape as directed,drilling holes & welding work etc and similar works confirming Fe-290,Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation of brick pillar to support the pipe line complete all as specified and as directed at site by the Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for excavation in any type of soil through trenchless technology by HDD (Horizontal directional drilling method) including preparing and setting up the plant and equipment. Preparing new pipe work material including all related civil work and mechanical work like excavation, shoring/strutting etc drilling, stringing, reaming and pulling back the new pipe work on the path alignment proper disposal of drilling fluid and ground penetrating radar survey to protect any exiting utilities at the pipe installation location restoration of site agter completion all inclusive as per and STT IS No.2.3.2.2.2.2. second edition 2008 code of pactice for trenchless technology suiting Indian condition for making horizontal bore of size 350mm dia suitable for HDPE pipe insertion under road crossing /hard standing for protection of MS/DI pipe to any depth by manually or any means complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) MS Pipe/DI Pipe will be measured and paid for seprately under respective items. (b) Permission required from civil authrority/department prior to executing the work is the responsibility of contractor and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (c) HDPE pipe shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.

Supply, laying & fixing of HDPE pipe heavy duty 250mm dia (PE 80) wall thickness not less than 22.8mm for protection of MS/DI pipe at any depth including fittings & fixtures complete all as specified and directed.
